Rockstar? You think Rockstar is one of the better devs? If that's the case then you really need to get a PS3 and play games made by the best. Rockstar makes subpar games and they sell on name alone. Past glory. They're old news.

Im kinda with you on this one. Although I couldnt see a difference on the HD videos yesterday, I truly believe that no game should be "sub HD" this gen. We all have great hardware. The devs should really make their games shine without cutting corners. But that would be a perfect world I suppose.
The real issue isn't sub HD by itself. The issue people are discussing is when an exclusive title is sub HD. I think that's a big no no when speaking in terms of developing for this gen. You have a team dedicated to one console. Max that shit out.

Who notices things like that, if you're not a programmer? Gamers don't notice that shit. Framerate and graphics are what counts. You're counting pixels and a myriad of diagnostic bullshit to make your version seem superior. While it may be that way on paper, the 2 games ran the same. The video proved it.

I read all the articles claiming that the PS3 version was inferior, and I rented the game anyway. The PS3 version looks fine to me. I am more mad about the glitches.
Anyway, all those articles convinced me that the 360 got the better version. What a load! I just watched that video above in HD and the 2 versions are exactly the same. The only difference is that there are patches of dead grass missing on the PS3 version. is that what everyone's making a fuss over? ...

The game is fun as hell, but it doesn't resemble RDRevolver at all. I think it's entirely too much like GTA.
This game has an awful lot of glitches. Bad guys getting stuck in walls, artifacting, ropes floating and following the character. At certain points it almost appeared to look like a game when your PS3 fat overheats with the artifacts.
This game is getting ridiculously too high scores. I give it a 8.5/9
I even found riding the horse in Assasins Creed 1 more enjoyable than riding horse in RDR.
I have noticed many glitches already also. There are gang members that get stuck inside walls in the canyons, there are floating lassos when you hitch your horse in places (no bigge, until you realize that lasso follows you around unless you reload the game), there are artifacts in the sky and backround.

Im playing the PS3 version right now. How is it that those screens look crappy. The 360 screens are way nicer, but on my TV they look fine? Those pics are pretty bad example I think. The game I am playing looksway sharper than those screens. Still, the difference in those screens is clearly lopsided. Rockstart sucks for not making them more equal. The PS3 version isnt bad at all. It actually looks quite good, but I do notice how much nicer the 360 version looks in the pics. Weird.

I don't quite understand why some of you seem offended or annoyed that people didn't know how to enable the 3D feature. It isn't as if there is a 3D menu under settings. They most likely did look in the settings menu but didnt re-do their display setup.
Anyway, I'd love to check out the 3D gaming scene, but 3500-5 Gs for a new tv is completely out of the question. Didn't we all just upgrade to 1080p-240 Hz like a year ago? Jeez man, they need to stop...
