Milking?? It's a completely new bundle Rookie. I'm 100% sure you wouldn't be saying that if it were an Xbox One bundle. How do I know? Well...
...because I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time you've seen it done. Considering the MCC bundle has been out for what? 8-9 months?
My jaw dropped not even 5 seconds into Sony's reveals. Not saying other conferences from its competitors weren't good, but Sony was on a whole other level in my opinion with their reveals.
I wonder if it's a coincidence that the percentage of votes for Sony are so similar to the market share they hold for this gen worldwide.
Didn't you know, if they don't have guns to shoot everything, it's not an overused franchise or its not a bi-yearly racer then they don't count /s
Been enjoying new diverse games on the PS4 for this year since January. And that's the way I like getting my games...all year long.
How did they shoot themselves in the foot? Do people realize that at the time that at $500 and $600 it was the cheapest blu-Ray player available? For a VERY long while Blu Ray players were almost $900. That the cell technology is what paved the way for better hardware that could produce games like TLOU, GOW, Infamous, LBP, MGS4, etc. Wireless controller out of the box. Upscaling PS2 and PS1 games. And free online. With many more features that were actually centered around games unlike a certa...
You're right. It's what's gonna send Xbox to the top just like the Wii U! I mean the Wii U has been doing exceptional because of the right out of the box feature to play all of last gen.'s Wii games. /s
It's a great and nifty feature man, believe me it's a big leap forward from the entertainment/TV focused Xbox of 2013. But it's in no way the "game changer of this generation" like you state. The PS3 had it and the Wii U has it.
Cool! Yeah I've been noticing all of the unfortunate activity the site has been having lately. Good thing it's getting sorted out.
Like I said, those features and points are what would entice me to get an Xbox One. As of right now I'd rather save the $350 + tax towards a PC rig to play a wider variety of games along with any interesting (non-shooter or yearly racer) MS exclusives that seem to be moving that way.
Xbox has definitely changed itself from its rocky start in the beginning. A good amount of quality changes were made this year. But I'm still not feeling it for me.
Until I can do the following and more on Xbox, then I'll consider it:
- remote play miles away from home or on the road (400 is my personal record so far)
- Shareplay with my brother
- play multiplat games in a resolution that actually makes sense.
- have more friends on a...
All they had to do was show a different section of gameplay. If you're gonna show gameplay, and you don't want to get scrutinized, then do it right.
Not that hard of a concept. No game, including Gears, should get a pass on that.
News about the specific modes. Yeah anyone could have assumed it, but it was not known to me until today, so it was news to me.
The no games argument again lol
C'mon Rookie_Monster, you know there's plenty of games coming out for both. No need to say the competition has no games just because they don't let you shoot everything in the game of its not a yearly racer.
BC is a good feature, but in no way a huge game changer. If it was then people would have been rushing out to buy a Wii U from the start, considering it plays every Wii game from last gen.
Backwards compatibility right out of the box, runs games sub-HD to HD, is less expensive, free online, TV integration, it relies on its overused franchises, motion controls...I'm sure a lot of people would find this to be a good deal from all these feature and more.
"I think you are trying too hard to downplay the XB1"
Or maybe he's just not liking his experience with the Xbox One. Not everyone who owns an Xbox one has to praise MS or games like Halo/Gears/Forza for every announcement they make. People have opinions and different tastes. No need to get the defenses up.
News like this is what has me beyond excited for this game!
You try and stealth troll with several of your reasons (like #6) lol that's why you're probably getting disagrees. If you think one of your reasons is better because the other doesn't offer it or offers something you don't like then just say it.
That's freedom of speech.
Yes it was mentioned several times. And one right before he started listing. Did you read the article?
All I said was that it was subjective article about which console he thought was better, yet people play this off as fact all the time.
"The defense force be out even when no defending is needed"
Exactly man. No need to get defensive just because I called out the article and his clear bias.
Yet not one time did he mention remote play, share play and other GAMING features to how they compare to the Xbox one.
Not knocking his opinion. But if you're gonna write a gaming article about all the reasons why something is better than another thing. You should include more detail to both sides of the argument so that it isn't just a biased article. Not that hard of a concept.
And he should include the Wii U in his comparison by the way. That way...
Now this would be something I'd buy! The biggest thing I'm wondering is how they'd taste lol
Basically it all boiled down to the fact that the author wanted to play Halo. Almost everything else mentioned is pretty much subjective and his own opinion. Nothing listed besides known features are fact.
To each his own. A list like this can be made by anyone for anything. Why? Because it's based on opinion. And most of these points could also justify buying a Wii U, which is a very good secondary/supplementary console for this gen in my opinion.
Weren't you complaining about this bundle the other day?? Lmao!
Hilarious!
On Topic:
This bundle is beautiful and is no way being milked the way people have been saying lately. More great bundles for future PS4 gamers this gen! I myself love the look of the MGSV Red PS4.
