what -Alpha said, remember that SONY has competitors the 3DS, NDSi AND the PSP also. You remember what happened to the PSP Go and the PS3 in its very first few years? SONY has to keep in the competitive price or they will go bankrupt. And even with this downgrade it will still be more powerful than the 3DS if thats whats worry u.

c'mon the Wii have Sonic Colors exclusively for it and NDS. For the ones asking why its coming for the 3DS, is cuz the 3DS is more powerful tan the Wii and with the 3D graphics it can make the game game look gorgeous unlike the Wii. Good to hear that from them, that they want to use HD to make this game even more beautiful. The Wii is dead, dead, dead.
