I was touching more on the fact that 3D movies never really took off.
Neither did PS Move or Kinnect to the extent that the companies thought they would.
I think you'll find that at no point did I say you couldn't play the games on those platforms, but space is a big thing holding many back from VR gaming and you won't get the same experience sitting on the couch.
Also, I never said that the tech in VR was the same as the tech for...
Yeah it's a great little item. I do hope they've got enough to meet the demand for it, though.
NES Classsssssssssic Mini!!!!
I totally agree with both of you. This could be the thing to push Nintendo back to their old top spot from their glory days. This would mean more third party devs jumping in as well.
I would love to see a N64 variant out soon!
Yep, it's a load of old shite.
The point is though that instead of making that waste of time, they could have easily have made an arcade mode.
I agree! There's better chance of me finishing the work for them.
It really should have came before a second story mode :(
I had watched the LTT review of the 480 and they were really impressed with it. Linus was even the first member of the person in the press to get told about the GPU.
I agree that they have an uphill battle in terms of marketing, even though the cards offer better bang for their buck. Nvidia has a lot more revenue to throw at the marketing team. Even after the dreaded Nvidia defect in laptop GPUs, people still flock to Nvidia.
There are some games that the GTX 970 has beat the RX 480 at, but then games like Tomb Raider and Hitman perform much better on AMD cards. I think DX 12 will be a game charger, although it's too early to tell. Plus the RX 480 draws less power than the GTX 970.
@Information Minister, I think the VR aspect is going to be the big selling point for this GPU.
It's also a lot more expensive and not every gamer can afford it. An Aston Martin DBS is better than a Mercedes E class in terms of power, but there's a wide price range between the two.
It really does look amazing. It's proof of what Wii U is capable of.
That's a good way to look at it. I'd actually love it though if both versions had a control scheme similar to SS. That played amazingly well and it could be a last hurrah for motion controls.
4K on the NX confirmed!
I would say the 4th shot down could most likely be from NX. It looks amazing! If it was from Wii U I'd be over the moon.
I'd agree with you on that one.
You're spot on about it being the wrong title, I can't change that just now though.
This DLC (for me at least) has the potential to be the best ever released on any platform.
