The point in bringing up a nearly 3 year old game? And people wonder why Halo is so popular. People just cant stop talking about it whether it is good or bad. I dont really play Halo but I find it funny none-the-less.

Why even bring up Mass Effect 2 to compare? In the same breath he could've said, Mass Effect 2 is more fun than Heavy Rain. Then it would've been another war.
Or even compared Heavy Rain to a Game in its Genre (if you wanna call it that) like Shenmue.

But can we have a good clean year where a game isn't labeled "the greatest something" or "the best". Yes there is a plethora of great games that have been coming out since 4th quarter 2009 but it seems people are using these terms too loosely.
It seems every console exclusive game that comes out lately, rather it be exclusive to 360 or ps3, this gets said about. Go figure.
I guess the invention of the internet is letting us see how many nut jobs are really out there.
People still say Final Fantasy during the ps era was exclusive. They came out on pc. Same with Grand Theft auto. Hell even last gen, GTA 3, Vice City and San Andres all came out for pc as well as the PS2. Then they came out on xbox. But people still saw them as PS exclusive. Halo is on the pc also but people still associate the name with the xbox.

Glad my quad wont go to waste. To many games aren't taking advantage of this and aren't optimized correctly, especially on 360. Not ps3 so much because the architecture forces devs to implement multicore programming because of the cell and spu's.
Just sold my 9800gx2 (getting ready to upgrade my entire pc). Put in a fanless HD-4350 because Im using my once gaming pc mainly for music now. But my new build will be great and this will probably be the first game I get.

The 360/pc doesn't. Even though there are multiple cores there, Games haven't really been taking advantage of them. Gas-powered games have with Supreme commander. And Battlefield Bad Company 2 is using multi-core code. They have even stated that having a quad core machine, we will actually see a great boost in gaming.
Devs can just hardcode for the most part on the pc and 360. doesn't justify them not learning the ps3 and its coding, but it is what it is.
