Popped in Killzone 2 today and turned it off after 5 minutes

Didn't even bother to buy ODST

Modern Warfare 2 sucked

I liked Battlefield bad company but skipped part 2

Haven't played Crysis Warhead in a while.

Will probably skip Crysis 2

The shouldn't have changed anything with the nanosuit controls because in Warhead you could use the 360 controller. Hell it was an option. And all the modes were there. So no excuses for that.

They are just trying to get some of that casual money and add another "easy" experience for the new crowd

They should've just left it on pc. But they have to make money to survive as does anyone.

Are you young? 3d was around before the original playstation, LOL. And guess what..........you didn't have to buy some fancy television either. They are just using tech craze to get people up in a frenzy about it. Labeling it as the next big leap/evolution in television. Old.

Now they would make me take a second look if every television or pc monitor didn't require glasses. Then it would be a leap.

since this is my last reply this might be kind of long.

My logic is simple if you stop putting words in my mouth.

I never said that I wanted to pay for short games. Show me where and I will apologize right now. What I said was that people instantly look at the length of a game to determine its value. AND THATS OKAY if that's all you're looking for in a game. If a long game = value to you then thats fine. But to me its more than how long a game is. I also state...

is an opinion. A games' length does not determine how good it is. People need to get that part right. Warhawk has no campaign length, but people still praise it. It has Multiplayer. This games has plenty of Multiplayer features. isn't that what you guys beg for now a days? It also has a single player campaign. Heavenly Sword was just a little bit longer than this game, but with no multiplayer, but people still praise it. See where Im getting at?

Its all in the perception...

Its the present.

Itunes
Steam
Direct2Drive
Impulse
PSN
Xbox live Arcade (full xbox 360 games there also)
torrent sites (yes this is a form of digital distribution)

Digital Distrubition is here now. And many people, like myself, take advantage of it. It can still live side by side with actual hard copies. I still prefer to buy hard copy products as long as the price is right. But Digital Distribution isn't going anywhere eithe...

Im sure I'll have more fun in this game than in the 4.5-5 hour Modern Warfare 2 campaign. But you know, some people just get a pass.

Plus I work, I run a studio on my off days, I have 2 boys. I hate ridiculously long games that I will never finish. No where near finished with Final Fantasy 13. Still have to get back to MGS4. Im surprised I finished Mass Effect 2.

Resistance 1 just ran on and on and on till I just got tired of it at a point. I finished it but ...

But still give the "hardcore" crowd an incentive to try it out. Just another option.

Pop in Halo Reach. It recognizes you have Natal hooked up, during key points it gets you to use it.

Pop in Halo Reach. It recognizes you dont have Natal Hooked up, you go about your business, LOL.

I just hope they dont focus on crappy games at E3. I want to see if they got the minority report dashboard thing going or not.

Is that you can still use a regular 360 controller with Natal. I remember reading a while back, on N4G, that Halo Reach might be using Natal. Then all the fanboys, on both sides, starting going back and forth. I believe that you would still be using the 360 controller through most of the game, but use natal and hand gestures on some parts. Like lets say to push a button to open a door. Instead of pressing A on the controller, you would reach up and gesture it with your hand.

For me, pc gaming is just a different experience. Its not always about the specs, or how much better does this look than the console. Its the different variety of games we get. Especially when it comes to the RTS genre. People debate on here about how long games are. God of War is 8 hours long. Conviction is 5 hours long. Thats good fanboy banter.

But on pc, getting enthralled in a great campaign of Medieval Total War is ridiculous. Sitting at your desk, what seems like...

But have you ever looked at some of the system requirements on some of these games? Some games are still saying you need atleast a 256mb card. WTF. Nothing less than 512mb IMHO. There are other things I think could be done different but its just my opinion, and plus I dont like to just talk blindly, LOL. I like to have some facts to back up stuff.

But yes it is hard for pc devs to optimize because of all of the different rigs.

Receiving all of your components
taking precious time to put everything together (mod what you want)
and then hit the power button and everything flows.

Now if only devs would take more of an interest in pc gaming, and optimize games for the hardware thats out there. GPU's are getting ridiculously amazing but the games still lag. We have quad core cpu's but most devs are still using single core code. There are a few that are up on their game.

Cant ...

Well look at the disagrees, looks like someone else did also, LOL. SOME of the n4g users never cease to amaze me.

But the best console I've ever owned is a toss up between the NES and the GENESIS. Good times.

I'm just excited about using it with the 360 console. Navigating the dashboard, starting video chats, pulling up movies, etc, etc. Its sad how many people want this to fail. I look at other aspects besides the gaming aspects.

A product that costs 400 points in the U.S., also costs 400 points in the U.K. A product that costs 800 points in Japan, also costs 800 points in Russia. Now the actual monetary value may differ from country to country because of the different values of currency, but the points are the same.

Because of DVD. Blu-ray holds everything, no matter what the deadline is. Stop lying to these people.

The xbox 360 had nothing to do with the direction that they took the game to. Remember the ps3 version was basicly finished when they started working on the 360 version. Redoing the game just so it could fit on a few discs would've taken a lot of more time than they used. They compensated by compressing the audio and video of the cutscenes and of course some play with the textures.

A good game is a good game. A bad game is a bad game. Disc space or the # of disc used does...
