I love my lumia 920. You just have to search for the apps. hell, most of the stuff that the Galaxy s4 does, on the camera side, there are free apps on the wp8 marketplace.

Not even close. Too much multiplayer and not many diamonds in the ruff. Paid reviewers and user blogs submitted as actual facts. Too much bottom dollar gaming and not enough let the devs have fun. Basicly, the internet has taken the fun out of gaming
This will look good on Windows 8 tablets, and the larger Wp8 devices. Plus it has Halo 4 tie ins. If the price is right, it's a purchase.
It's not for smartphones, it's for all mobile devices. They had to fix the camera issues on the smartphone versions.
It actually looks good. Would it make you feel any better if it were just a Windows 8 shooter and not mobile? It would be the same game, just labeled differently.
Sidenote:I'm not trying to speak for you in any way. We all have our preferences, but the game does look good.

Plus, if you cant afford a beastly pc, years down the line that same game can be played again with better graphics than before.
The low end pc of the future will be the mid/high end of today. Cant beat that.
I mainly game on pc (my steam catalogue and boxed cabinet is a mess) but I dont think pc's have always been more powerful. I think most people would've preferred NES/GENESIS put a licking to DOS gaming. I cant really remember how the graphics were back then. I do remember I played alot of Robocop Dos. But I will say that windows 95 was a game changer for pc gaming.

I looked around, I think it does come with a brick. But I was sure I heard someone say that everything was internal shortly after the reveal. I could've heard wrong. I guess we'll have to see later on.

Having said that, this looks like its well thought out. Wish them success.
It's smaller than the fat ps3, with the exception of depth (front to back). I think it looks fine. It "might" get smaller with time but if it doesn't, then it doesn't.
Could they have added a few more style edges or cut ins? Maybe. But I'm sure they wanted to play it safe with cooling.
Would it look better if it were a white box? Maybe golssy white with the gray blu-ray tray slot.
Man, I wonder what would happen if they did this to all the pc devs?

We'll see how it works. We will also see how many people are "closed door" activists. I can guarantee you that if the ps4/xbox deal with drm the same way, most of those people will still buy them.
