I have just been a visitor on this site, I thought some of the flamming has been some what entertaining. But now it seems this site has become serious for gamers, which is good news. That's why I just registered.
My point was that these consoles are kind of a toy. Kids bump, move, and do whatever else to these things. That's why I don't lend anything out to a non-adult who doesn't takes pride in what they own. I freak when my kid gets to close to my 60" XBR.
After getting my disc re-surfaced it works fine now and hasn't scratched it since.
