Square Enix as far as an JRPG company has published better titles then these guys this gen.
And yes The Last Remnant even with its flaws is better then Disgaea3.
Because through the glitches and poor design TLR wasn't bad.
For any Fallout3 fan this is a definite buy.

I found the game more X-Menish.
Fighting Sentinel and meeting up with actual depictions of X Men characters.
In the movie Gambit didn't have that Creole accent like he has in the game.
I for one found the game more enjoyable and gritty than the movie.
But I won't spoil anything.
The ending CGI left me scratching my head....

But if I recall at MSFT's Japanese conference they were slandered due to there showcasing of alot of multiplatform titles.
But overall there conference was more entertaining and informative then this. Not a big fan of rugby and VidZone is nothing new to me.
