your missing my point, i am fine with another studio handling halo it would just be nice for microsoft to have more studios then they currently do to make MORE new IP's
its not that sony had a huge starting price or that microsoft started early, its the combonation of both
sony sold two million more consoles then microsfot in 2009 so how is that even possible?
i dont no how much you no about computers but for me, buying a bare bones PC was the best decision, just throwing in my hard drive and DVD drive and knowing thats it was pretty nice

have you considered this, even at the end of this gen lets say the PS3 is still one mill behind, will sony care? will gamers care?im guessing no since sony made money and gamers get great games, only fanboys care

what difference does that make when the Ps2 is still being sold and apart from motion controls the will is not much more powerful or different then the PS2

thats not even true any more, a quick search on amazon shows a blu ray player for £80, times that by 3 and its still not cheaper then the cheapest retail PS3 (£250)

why doesnt microsoft just buy a studio or two? they could still continue halo projects while creating new IPs, the money used for the GTA DLC alone would have been enough for atleast one decent dev team
