looks like I'll have to dust my PSP to play this one. Daxter was one the best games for the PSP so far.
Thank goodness the kids will be safe now!
Another blu-ray hater! Maybe Sony can save money by making the PS3 with HD-DVD. I hear those are really cheap right now.
Gad! I can't wait for this game. Uncharted 2 and GoW are going to set the bar pretty damn high!
Now if they only could have gotten McG to quit the new Terminator movie...ah well
I bought it, but haven't played it yet. Got it over X-mas at my local Radio Shack for $19.97.
As most gamers everywhere, I'll be clamouring for the Rent: Live on Broadway Blu-ray Disc Trailer. /rolleyes
Hmmm...what a timely review...only 3 months too late.
Couldn't careless if it comes to the PS3. I having it for the PC, because I just can't get the hang of the gamepad with shooters. Keyboard and mouse are the only way to go.
Eeewwwww!!!
I guess that's why Home is still in beta.
The PS3 is sinking, blu-ray is dead, LBP is a flop!!! Where are the 360 fanboys now? The old saying "slow and steady wins the race" comes to mind.
Hey another day, another article about the demise of PS3. If they post another blog about the death of Blu-ray, it will complete my day. YAWN! While everyone is wailin and gnashing their teeth, I'll just be sitting back enjoying my PS3 games and watching eye melting blu-ray movies.
yes and it is awesome!
Well maybe they'll start having more copies of Blu-ray new releases. Waiting 2-3 weeks is too long for the newest movies.
"According to a report from NPD Group unit DisplaySearch, consumers purchased 147,000 stand-alone Blu-ray Disc players during the week of Thanksgiving, which includes the popular Black Friday. These sales generated $30 Million in revenue (averaging to a little more than $200 per player), which was triple from a year ago even though prices have significantly dropped.
Additionally, 25% of all optical disc players purchase were of the Blu-ray format, up 6% from a year ago. B...
Blu-ray is here to stay folks. For those who say that up-scaled DVD are just as good, they have not seen BR on a 42+ 1080p HDTV.
I agree with the reviewer. I love this game. I've never spent this much time just wanting to explore every nook and cranny of the game's map. And i've played lots and lots of RPGs. For those of you who say its not faithful to the other Fallouts, you should stop whining and be happy there is a Fallout 3. Black Isle is defuncted and you'll probably never get another game(s) like the original Fallouts.
This would be a great game...if it was coming out for the N64. What horrible blocky graphics. I have a feeling by the time MS gets this game out, LBP will be solidly entrenched in gamers hearts to be dethroned.
Keep in mind, the PQ is only half of what Blu-ray brings. SQ is also a huge step forward with DTS-HD, lossless, etc. You don't get near the sound quality with HD programs on cable/satelite.
