For some reason, Ubisoft loves to create these beautiful worlds and then yank you out of them unexpectedly. Single biggest pet peeve on the Assassins Creed series. They create these fully realized historical worlds and then pull you unwantedly into some bland modern setting. With FarCry, just when I'm set to do something good, they throw me into some hallucinating scenario. With both games it's a huge momentum drag.
It was a good not great game for me. The ending was a little too Matrix-ey. I liked Heavenly Sword better.

I thought this was a good, but not great game. The ending did crush my soul just a bit though.
I'll have to be honest too. I couldn't get into the game. I'm not saying it's a bad game by any stretch, it just wasn't for me. And I played it for about 3 weeks. So I did give it ample chance to grow on me.
Remasters are great but they aren't the only thing Sony is releasing.
I started GoW about a week after it was released, so I was abit skeptical about all the praise. Flash forward to now and I'm obessed with this game. I'm actually losing sleep over this game because every night it's keeping me up way passed with I should be in bed. I still can't believe it has lived up to it's lofty hype. Kudos to Santa Monica!
