@Nodoze
Or maybe it has to do with the interactivity with Windows 8 you know... also X8OX = XBOX Infinity!
Not a surprise at all lol, what I really want to see IF they'll go ahead and allow demos of exclusive games from their gaming systems to be streamed to any compatible device, it could be a great way to promote their games, still being the only way to play the full games on the respective system, people would want to make a purchase
@-MD-
Why choose when you ask for both? what about somethiing like this:
GOW: Home Console
HS: Portable
That would be Great!
@Fishy Fingers
Dude, that s#*t is the future, I don't like it and anyone with a lame @ss IC like it, but you read news about Nvidia making GPUs designed specially for streaming games and stuff like that, Samsung making deals with Gaikai (pre-Sony) to stream gaming in their big @ss TVs and so on, it's not perfect now, but in 10 years maybe even your Apple I-toaster™ will stream s#**y IOS time wasters...
@nukeitall
It'll take off,...
Competition is always good, if this means MS going the same route, bring it on!
@nikrel
Good thing about Gaikai is that they don't need to touch anything from the game to make it compatible with any device you want to stream, that's the biggest difference compared to Onlive, which they need modify the game code or something to make it work on that service
I'm not a tech guy, but that's what I got from some sites when the rumors where going on full force, so maybe a Firmware and good IC and you're done :D
Tell me is coming next year plz! I need new consoles, next needs to start in 2013...
Massive trolling lol they were denying the whole deal for months already, haha
I hope they can come up with something awesome with the so called "future of gaming"... like... Streaming PS2 games on Vita, :drool: Cloud Based Backward Compatibility :O
@MattS
The Biggest, most important publisher is going to be sold because its parant Media Conglomerate is losing money and they don't have any other choice, one reason is the fact that Acti's Cash Cows are Blizz Games and COD, IF one of those franchises fall, the company will go down quickly and Vivendi is way bigger than just gaming and keeping a company that relies in just a couple of core franchises would be too risky for them atm
@Seraphemz
Joke, right?
O-T
EXCLUSIVE GAMES! and by that I'm not saying Exclusive spin-offs
@_@ What in the name of God is that piece of S#*T!? lol for real, whoever thought this thing was a good idea, should be fired ASAP! hahaha
Nicely done Nintendo, you're on the right track :D
lol So Good! XD
Was a matter of time, Acti being Acti, game doesn't do well and they kill the studio...
@corrus
Yeah, because there are 100m Nintendo Fanboys that bought the wii, right? last gen the GameCube sold 23m consoles, that number I'd believe :P the wii became a hitthanks to casuals or the mass market unaware of the whole gaming thing eat the system like candy, IF the wii was to be only bought by the Nintendo supporters, it could have had GameCube sales
This time Nintendo can achieve the same goal and take the casuals again, I don't give a s#*t...
@Snookies
It's not, SE takes 4 years and release a corridor game (XIII), 6 years and still no Versus, doing VII-R would take them 2 gens without gimping the whole game
List wars? Nice... how about MOAR GAMES! and that's it, gettting ports and spin-offs will not help the Vita, games like Gravity Rush and Soul Sacrifice which are new and EXCLUSIVES are the kind of games that will help Vita
Hey, SE, never heard about BDXL: 128GB? see if you can fill that with your CGI s#*t lol
@Shok
everyone told me the Vita was going to Fail... you know how that's going...
I don't want any console to fail, I don't want to hear about IOS gaming savior and F2P = future, just want consoles to do well, pity those who are stuck in their brand loyalty and wish doom to other companies, I want the 3 console manufacturers fight for my bucks as hard as they can, I'll support all home systems next gen...
This thing is really weird in a sense of selling an "used dd game" is not the same as "used physical game", I mean, a physical copy devaluate its price with time and condition of the *physical* product, a digital copy is intact, it's the same through years and only devaluate its price with time but not affected by its physical condition, a huge selling game that cost $60 on day one, could be sold @ $60 after months, because there is no change in its condition
