Yeah... we first talk about huge and appealing characters before DLC, but now that I think about it, this will mean the best characters may end up as DLC?, damn... :/
They want the living room, IF that means a kinect-box with cable subs + apps ala Apple + Gaming, they'll do it, the main focus will change, but that doesn't mean gaming will be put aside or left behind... the times are changing...
New HW is needed, but then again, IF SE can't release VS XIII after 6 years... it's a moot point...

Agree with the last part of your comment, no matter what, in this case and with this game, it'll be destroyed by reviews, the internerd will hate it because it's not Smash Bros and it'll be used by trolls in future fanboy wars, so, be ready XD
I want this game to be huge, but Sony will not even care about advertising it and Third Party Characters will be mid-tier at best, not the greatest characters from the PS1 and PS2 days... too bad...
IF you want to go with niche, loads of characters from JRPGs available on PS Systems can be added in the roster, same with popular, Big Boss, Snake, Cloud, Sephiroth, Tifa, Leon, Jill, Dante, Crash, Ratchet, Jak, Dax, Sir Daniel Fortesque........ and so on....
Big Daddy is not a characater you can identify with PlayStation and the franchise is pretty new, so I don't know... maybe Bioshock Vita related...

Totally True, they're playing too safe with known characters, but not the best characters, Cloud, Sephirot, Solid or Big Boss, Lara, Kazuma, Crash, Ratchet, Jak, RE Characters and I can keep going...
I'll buy when Soul Sacrifice comes out, deals are enticing and that game is going to rock! also I'll totally expect a dual-pack for Battle Royale, so when I get the Vita, I'll be able to play on both systems, I'm keeping an eye on AC:L for Vita as well, but aside of Uncharted Portable, Gravity Rush and SS, there isn't much for me, hope Sony gets more games for that thing because I'm not going to buy a system for a bunch of games >:(
Key is transition, digital Future may be the future, but not right now, same with Streaming, it may be huge in the future, but the thing is, people will not ditch their physical owned stuff just in one day...
Duh... funny guys :P I want to see how much different is to the current slim, how much they were be able to shrink it, for that FCC pic it has a rectangular (?) shape, like the fatty PS3 and PS2, also being slimmer, should be like the PS2 mod 7000 or 9000, no way is the latter, that's the slimmer, tiniest model, can't wait for the announcement :D

Their engine is not the problem, SE just Sucks! and take 5 years to make a poor game, but hey, they can always use the same assets and milk sequels XP

I don't think the U = X360, but N didn't show anything mind-blowing in their conference, also the massive focus in the tablet-controller *Alone* leaving the system out of the picture is kind of weird

This game will be PSN if ever gets pass Japan, crazy game, but in a good sense :P
IF it's not over, we're getting close, I think GOW:A, B2S and TLoU are the last games for PS3 before all the big studios move on to fully support PS4, not to mention that some studios have separate teams working on next gen games already, like GOWIII Director and the U3 team, also MM and GG are working on new IPs and PD is always working on GT Franchise

How's that? MS specs are not set in stone, screw it, the console wasn't even announced... we don't know anything yet, not even Wii-U specs...
Eh... PSN is not at the same level of Live and they're not charging, Vita provides features that PS3 doesn't have and they still don't charge, only a Freaking Hardcore Nintendo Fanboy would pay $60 or more for something that will not be on par with the established Online Networks, let alone Live...
Remember that Vivendi is only selling %60 of ActiBlizz, for MS to get the COD exclusive, they need to buy the whole company = 100%
8m = 60% right? so... something like 15m the whole thing? WooooW lot of cash indeed, it really worth?
