Whether fanboys like it or not. Nintendo is not really in trouble. They are still sitting on billions upon billions and are in far better shape then their competitors due to intelligent managing of their major franchises. According to the internet Nintendo has been doomed since the gamecube, They've always been wrong. Just deal with it.
Right now I really like it but it does feel like it's in beta. Zen pinball, blops2 and MH3U is keeping me busy for now. Until nintendo updates the system features and it gets a few more titles to justify it's existence. I still wouldn't recommend someone else to pick one up yet. Especially since by end of year (likely just before ms and sony drop their system) we'll likely see that price drop a tad.

it's funny how japan sales don't matter if nintendo is winning. but they do matter when sony is winning. funny that... funniest part. Monster hunter 3 was only on sale for 2 days of that week. How will n4g react when wii U is on top next week?

You do not define console generations by game engines... you do it by, I dunno, what console generation it's part of.
