that maybe nintendo is cutting the price because it want's to make it easier for core gamers who bailed to get back on board. Nintendo has a killer core lineup coming lately and they have lost alot of core support. While the price drop is a bonus for casuals it really is probably more geared to get back the core gamers it lost.

pretty sweet actually. As long as they keep the showing strong each week then mondays are about to get a bit sweeter. They really upped presentation in the channel. It makes me wonder if there are going to be any more surprises leading up to october. Does nintendo have any future press confrences on a monday bychance? If they utilize the Nintendo channel even half as well as they did for E3 then maybe this is leading to something.

I think that they are suddenly realising all the huge games they will be missing over the next 2 years and are starting to get insecure that they either don't own one or had one and fell for the fanboy hype and sold it.

Chock this up to my top 5 worst lists list... number 2. I swear who keeps posting and approving these atrocities. Who makes a list of top 5 games for the holiday season and includes 3 games slated for next year. Last I checked( as mahr already stated ) Metroid, SMG 2 and Red Steel 2 are all 2010 releases. jesus... that list it like forever.. only thing longer then the list of planned 09 titles for wii is the list of planned 09 titles for DS/dsi. if you use a fine toothed comb you can find quite a few gems in that lot. Zelda, crystal chronicles, dead space, silent hill, Resident evil, Mario and luigi, COD. It's good to be the king.
