I agree. I was disappointed when the RE series moved more away from the creepy horror games they started with and moved to more of a shooter. I'd love to see them resume with the original horror spirit of the beginning games.
It looks pretty fun, but better than "The Goonies"? Bold words.
I'm hoping Anthem can bring back the magic Bioware had with Mass Effect and Dragon Age Origins
You had me until "no awkward sex scenes".
Wow. I get that they're a small studio trying to make an ambitious leap, but that still seems like a pretty big issue.
I agree, but it still does appear fairly "souls-like" from the little we've seen so far.
How critical is it to have played the original Gate of Memories game in order to follow this story? Is this title even worth picking up without having played the other?
It looks like it's going to be creepy in a refreshingly original way. I'm intrigued so far.
If they're done well, walking sims can be a fun an immersive experience. This game looks to be along those lines.
I agree. Nothing in that trailer did anything to blow me away.
I'd imagine anyone with a tank would have too much of an advantage in that sort of setting.
That seems like a fair guess. As long as it's as stellar as it seems, I don't mind waiting.
Dear god I HOPE this isn't the start of the UPS- sim genre!
I'm curious to see for myself if it keeps any of the God of War feel that made the other games so magical.
I dont think it will be a system like BFront 2, more like BF1 where the lootboxes are just cosmetic stuff.
Or the smartest, considering how much damn money they make off them :/
@Fragnum
It's not that it was technically a bad game per se, but it was a terrible Turok game. They just made you another space marine that fought a few dinosaurs.
And please nothing like that terrible reboot we got last gen...
It's just the slippery slope, that is all. He already wants to tone down video game violence. Have you seen how strict Australia is with their games? Heavily modifying them or outright banning them. If we adopt strict gun control, whats to stop him adopting strict game and media control?
I tried it a long time ago and couldn't get into it. It sounds like they've made some changes for the better though.
