Quicken > MS Money
I would not know, do not use either.
Google > Live Search
Definitely agree, although Live is getting better ... slowly.
Flash > Silverlight
Unless you are a Flash and Silverlight developer, then I really doubt you know what you are talking about.
Mac OS > Vista
Okay, I'll give you Vista can be a headache. Throw in XP up there and then switch your arrow the other way. Plus, Mac OS is fine, but nothin...
Everybody copies everyone else. It's just the way of the game.
proof?
So if Sony says something (higher attach rate) or another 3rd party says something, it's to be believed. On the flip-side, anything from Microsoft is to be immediately discredited and buried.
Seriously? Where do you guys get the gall.
Best 18 minutes EVAH!
I just rented this from BlockBuster with my "free game" coupon. At least I didn't spend any money!
I've got all of that in my PS3 - but never use it. Seeing as how my receiver only takes DTS (core stream) or Dolby 5.1 - I'll never use those "cool new" audio features.
With an add-on, the Xbox is going at a different stream of customers than, say, the ps3. By touting those feature, the ps3 is trying to get the audio/videophiles on board with their system (aka early adopters). At this point in the game, I think MS is just wanting to get a toe into the market. The peopl...
Probably because Microsoft can afford to have it at that price point. See the many articles on the Xbox Division finally making profits (after how many untold years of losing money).
Totally disagree. As an owner of all three "main consoles" right now, I find myself still playing the X360 more than any of the other two. Whether that is due to I had it first, and thus have a larger game collection; or that I have more friends on Live (versus maybe 2 on PSN); or perhaps it's the controller that I prefer...
Anyway, all I'm getting at is that anyone who buys an X360 right now is not uninformed. They've probably weighed their options and picked the one t...
Nobody said "horrible pop-ins" when referring to the Xbox 360 version.
The same people who cared when it was talked about during Halo 3's release. What goes around, comes around.
So when Halo 3 came out and was found to be sub-720p, people believed this guy right out of the box, no questions asked.
Now that the SAME PERSON has posted on the ps3 GTAIV being sub-720p, those same people doubt him?
It must be nice to be able to pick and choose what you believe only when it supports your beliefs.
End result - both Halo 3 on xbox 360 and GTAIV on ps3 look stunning!!
Since when are slight (and I need to put emphasis on SLIGHT) differences a *major* win for the PS3? Seriously, ever single review has said that while yes, there is a difference, they pretty much even out and get whatever system you prefer it on. That's it!!!
Considering the differences aren't huge at all (as has been stated everywhere, too) - I doubt you're going to hear those people that play the games on Xbox's complain about it. In fact I would bet if you play the two side by side you'd be hard pressed to really tell the difference.
That's the feeling I get reading all these reviews.
I own both, so I too like to read these comments. I'll pick it up for the 360, though (unlike the poster above) for the fact that in MY opinion, and my opinion alone, I prefer the 360 controller. Also, I am going to be a sucker and get the downloadable content.
And really, reading everything I have, it seems that the two versions are pretty much identical - no big huge "OMG" differences, really.
not all PS3 games use dedicated servers, that's up to the game developer/producer to decide. It's much easier to set up the P2P network, which is why you will see some Xbox games have MP, while their ps3 counterparts don't (not often, but it has happened).
Just saying - not all of our ps3 games use dedicated servers. From what I understand, CoD4 doesn't on either system.
So you don't like fun, addicting games? Something tells me if those were on PSN and not on XBL you'd say "haha look what Sony has..."
That sorta stinks if you still like to play the Twisted Metal game - but I guess barely anyone does.
From the article:
The only two games which will not work after the servers are shut down include EyeToy Chat and Twisted Metal Black Online due to the fact that they have no offline modes.
All that comments proves is that constant rumors prove nothing.
Not sure what tv's you were looking at, but motion blur is pretty much a thing of the past. Just saying... LCD isn't bad at all.
