Only #1 can be verified, and for the rest you have to take Microsoft's word for it. The study shows RROD occuring for newer models. But we may never know, because...
"The only people that know the actual numbers work for Microsoft, and the numbers are not something Microsoft or any other company would typically disclose for competitive reasons."
Don't be a mark.
He says they've been all over the map, but they have always been high numbers. Always high numbers!
What do you expect: "Official from Redmond, WA: 360 Hardware Sucks"?
Yeah...this stuff runs in cycles. It is usually around this time PS3 gets a crapload of hate from overzealous 360 owners. It has just been extended to the beginning of next year.
Can't talk crap unless you back it up. Microsoft just hasn't given them anything to back up their jive talk this year. So they call Sony owners fanboys.
Yeah, yeah...the same is true for SOME of us PS3 owners, too.
I pride myself on being a good consumer. I like buying the best with my money, and I don't mind spending a stack if it gets me all that I want with great quality. I subscribe to Consumer Reports. I read reviews sections on Amazon, Cabela's when shopping online. I've been burned by crap products, expensive crap products enough already.
It took me over a year to choose an mp3 player, my iPod. It is taking me longer to decide to buy a 360. I've played a 360 quite often over th...
Quality is measured in TQM using statistical process control. The console failure rate would be a measure of quality.
From this perspective the RROD makes the PS3 better.
Google Six Sigma, Malcolm Baldridge awards, etc. Learn something before voicing an opinion.
I see no fanboys here, just opinions.
will love it, and yep I'm a graphics whore.
Intellivision > Atari 2600
Those were the EXACT words in my head when I clicked the link and saw this post.
but I don't do coke either.
Broken was a good album back in 90's, but Fixed sucked.

Fils-Aime will claim victory this console generation and Nintendo will release its new console with celebration.
But who knows? The best days of the Wii may be ahead of us. Next year we may see a Wii-naisance. Heh.
I previously estimated that the PS3 will sell annually 2.3 million more than XBox at most. A seven million 360 lead means about three years...2012.
Late 2012 at that.
I don't think he meant that as one statement. They are on separate lines.
Stop the fanboy witch hunt.
Really impressive. The future of PC Gaming graphics looks awfully sexy.
I may have to give up being console exclusive. Wow.
I know a fanboy when I see it, but I take higher ground than Hemorrhoid and you Xbox fans who post...I don't care. I don't use fanboy in my arguments.
I criticize both consoles. Both have flaws, but I don't see one group being any more fanboy than the other. It seems to change every few months. Right now with this article and the comments by Cool and others...the XBox fanboys are the worst.
But I remember coming to this site and thinking N4G is trying to convince...
but I think/know it will outshine inFamous, Batman, MW2 and Dragon Age.
How does that prove anything? Really.
I've bought a PSP-1000, PSP-1500, and I am buying a PSP-3000 this week...but I still plan to buy a PSP go.
So yeah, there's a market.
it is sold separately. Any price equity would make it obvious that the hard drivers are overpriced. I saw a frick 1TB Hard driver for $100 last weekend for Pete's sake - I could conceivably buy a 1TB hard drive for my PS3 for less money for a 120 GB.
Not only was he wrong in confusing 32MB with 32GB, but acts as if charging wireless products before use is a new thing...definitely not new for the PSP.
His rant about "lack of" USB connectivity is laughable. The PSP has a USB mini connector. There are more than one USB connector, and they are not hard to find. You don't have to go at it wirelessly.
Regardless of opinion, this article is garbage because it gets the facts wrong.
