Don't talk about ME coming to the PS3 when I am finally planning to buy a 360 solely for Mass Effect 2. This is just screwing me in the head.
"We don't think of ourselves as exclusively 360 for the rest of time. As a company we have to keep things open and think about how to survive without Microsoft sometime in the future but that doesn't mean we're set in our ways."
"We're happy with the situation at the moment. We don't contain ourselves in any way. We want to make great games and we want to make great games on any console."
I think Ruffian can expect a long relationship with MS if i...
I never had any problems with updates or lag on the PSN. It doesn't have an experience like LIVE is the only real difference.
And Fudgehammer is a hypocrite to call anyone else a fanboy. He needs to save that lovin' for his woman 'fore I get to her.
LIVE has been around for seven years. It has time to grow and evolve. Microsoft is the obvious #1 in this area. We should expect this; it is Microsoft after all.
Still the praise is excessive. Additional features like SkyTV and Netflix are ubiquitous in consumer electronics today (i.e., media center PCs). Microsoft doesn't own these features. The companies providing the content do, making it fair game for Sony.
Sony is king of content with Sony Pictures and Sony...
but then again I don't know if I would be comfortable with a list I would have made. Maybe they should've done it by console generation.
But I would've expected Killzone 2 to make it into the top 100. Metal Gear Solid should be in the top 10.
Did we forget what it was like before the price drop, or even before games were postponed into 2010? Did we forget speculation of Activision dropping PS3 support? It has only been a year. Sure Sony packed a lot in, but three out of four of those years XBox has put a whoopin on Sony.
*Ding-Ding* Round 5. Go grab a controller and some popcorn.
I think he was being sarcastic...meaning some of those thumb downs may have been thumbs up.
This is the interwebs anyway. What you write doesn't validate any argument to anyone else but yourself. Most of us push our lappity toppity boxes aways and immediately forget about the heated topic of the day.
Why do you act like XBox has been the underdog? I remember an issue of EGM that had the PS3 covered in tomatoes about 2-3 years ago. Imagine wanting to get a console, and going online and in the magazines to find out what to get. XBox was the fan favorite this gen by a mile.
But it wasn't because of the hardware. Props to the LIVE boys for pioneering online gaming, and much credit has to be given to the developers (i.e., Bungie, Epic and Bioware).
Oh and F&#Q...
it was in the middle of the list, and I don't think they even referred to it as Natal. Teleportation was on the list too, and it wasn't even #1.
You are grossly biased and misinformed to say Natal is Time's #1 invention.
Bring Halo to PS3 and I bet it sells the about the same, maybe less.
Bring Viva Pinata to PS3 and I'm sure it will sell more.
Bring Uncharted to the 360 and it will sell less.
This highlights a difference in user-base and game preference rather than
Now from this, I think Natal may be delayed, but it is still coming. Too much has gone into this; it will be MS's Home. They will have to rush to get a line-up for Christmas 2010. You may come back a year from now and Natal still hasn't been released.
Sony appears to be months ahead of MS with a Spring release. With the momentum favoring the PS3, casuals looking for a Wii-like experience will buy the "wand" before Natal is released. It is not a guaranteed success. ...
Veronica Belmont is the cutest thing going, but Qore isn’t worth $3.00. For the amount of content it provides, it is more economical to get my information from an issue of Gameinformer or PLAY. They need at least twice the amount of content it has now, or it needs to come out every two weeks. Being scarce on content, it is too easy for me to pass on the yearly subscription or the occasional episode that doesn’t cover a game I’m interested in. Beef up Qore.
Qore should only be...
it is not the PS3 experience, but for the PSP it is close enough. I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10 if you are a fan of the first. If you didn't like it, it's a 5.5.
in a firmware update around the time of Metal Gear.
delineate what the PS3 is missing that makes Firefox such a b!tzchan idea. Are you talking all the cool plug-ins or what? Or is it the browser on filling part of the screen? What!
I feel like the only teenage girl standing after a Beatles concert in the 60's.
have my nads sweating.
I don't trade with or buy used games from Gamestop. I've had mixed experiences, but the stores I patron the employees and managers have been cool. Some Gamestops I won't ever return to though.
for that creepy baby shot, I see no difference either. Way it is supposed to be.
"The best console to play it is the XBox 360, and the best place to get it is at Wal-Mart."
It was funny for a commercial. But to see Wal-Mart throw in with Microsoft, made me wonder if the ad boys on Walton Mountain, Bentonville, AR are just shills as well. (Perhaps a professional courtesy among douche bag companies?) I hope they have a ton of PS3 versions of the game on the shelf waiting for a price rollback. It would serve them right - they'd asked for it.

in line 5:00 yesterday morning had three XBox 360s and crapload of games. I guess no one told them the 360 was dead this holiday season.
