I raced the Marina 25 times this evening. Came in 8th the first ten races (nailing the ramp before the finish is a beyotch). Started to consistently make fourth and fifth then finally got second.
I rule.
And so does this game. The track editor is sooo intuitive, moreso than your ModCharacter. I was impressed with ...
WTF you reading this...Download the demo and see for yourself and then get the game.
Extreem lange laadtijden = LOOONG LOOOAAAD TIMEES
Still I'm having a blast.

No one would pay monthly unless they were just checking it out or just silly with money.
"Another quaalude, and she'll be mine again."
for reasons to buy a 360 AFTER you've bought a PS3. Well at least now they're better reasons for that. ; )
Reasons some of us did not buy a 360 before a PS3.
1. Too busy working two jobs saving up for PS3 to play.
2. Who'd thunk they have JRPG's on the 360.
3. Rumor about the RROD problem.
4. Decided to go with the proven leader in console gaming for past decade and a half.
There are plenty of barriers for a company wanting to release a console. They have to be competent in both hardware, media and software. Microsoft is fantastic at one, mediocre at the rest. Sony is the bee's knees at all three.
Still all Microsoft had to do is show up to gain market share. To dominate is another story, and it never really dominated because a head start doesn't mean dominance.
is solely at the expense of the 360? The Wii is a rock!!
I wonder what this says about Move's chances.
PS3 owner can look forward to three franchises from Insomniac.
LOL @ and there are benefits... like starting netflix up without even having to put down your beer.
don't really care who did it first. They just want to be the ones who people think of now when they think Motion Controls.
I still think motion controls is Nintendo's bag more than Sony's for the moment and likely after Move debuts. Natal is going need a whole new debut - showing games people would actually buy and not Ricoshet.
There's a difference between having the Lost and the Damned or Fallout content than being to play as the Joker. The first two are essentially new games that carry on the experience. The second is marginal content.
I said exclusive DLC was going to be a failed experiment. I'm not saying that DLC doesn't provide some benefit but it always seems to be at a greater cost - loss of a possible market for the devs or the remuneration of the loss by Microsoft. The $75 for GTA DLC could have started a new studio with some original IPs exclusive to the XBox.
Then for the DLC to come out for the PS3 at a later date? What little benefit there is to Microsoft only exists in that short win...
Where's Jack Thompson in all of this? N4G needs some humor.
and dumber.
you are pretty much still a kid.
is going to be hard. This may mean I'll have a messload of DLC to buy come Christmas.

Twenty-two thousandths of a second...
That is equatable to ~45 frames per second. Human perception is 13 frames per second and able to perceive lag at a periodicity of every 76 ms. I guess this means its impact on lag is minimal. Actual results may vary by game.
Personally the track editor is as impressive as LBP, but this isn't the same as LBP...especially not LBP2. Being a racing game, it has certain conventions. These conventions can be seen as limiting, but they define the genre. Why would you want to make a logic machine in a racing game?
Ironically, LBP's depth is limiting. It is no where near as accessible as ModNation. Still both are among the freshest and brightest games we've seen this gen.
