I'm not a Sony "fanboy", but I'm loyal to the Playstation platform. The games I like most just happen to be exclusives to Playstation, but I'm not exclusive.
I am a fan of Sony as a company since the early Walkman, but I've had my share of bad experiences. I like how they conduct business overall, particularly in gaming.
Pretty much just Red Dead Redemption...crappy month for everybody else.
Even the most popular multiplatform game only gets a percentage of the entire population who bought the console. Many only have a handful of games. For 360, they are most likely to have Halo, COD, and Modern Warfare...
Complaining about Alan Wake not having multiplayer is almost like complaining that it isn't a shooter. Meanwhile, PS3 owner eat up single player only games like hotcakes.
Times like this I think about all those posts saying the PS3 owners don't buy any games on the console...and feel vindicated for calling them idiot morons.
I've always felt this was Microsoft's attempt at a PS-type game. I'm sure Alan Wake is a decent game. It just got RDROD'd (Red Dead Redemption of Death).
Cloud storage...
Yeah that'd awesome, but I think PSN+ is more for moving content from the Playstation Store. I'm thinking they'll keep services simple and open to everybody.
Buying Super Stardust HD for $5. So far I have a 10% return on my investment.
Not every game has it. Resident Evil does.
Imagines Skittles licking the inside of the television screen...
Ever seen an avatar's sack? Bam, there it is.
Really? Where would you put Damnation on a scale of 1 to 5?
I fail to see how this equates to a 1.5 myself, but I don't put much stock into review scores. Everything about Crackdown screams "generic" and "derivative," but it is not a horrible game.

I saw the potential of both Move and Heavy Rain, and decided to buy the game with Move...hoping it will be announced.
Still DLC would be cool, but Move means more money than a piece of DLC.
That's like telling me to feel sorry for a man with a Mercedes because he cannot afford gas. Of all the games that are reasons to dust of the PS3, this is it? Might as well be Mahjong Solitaire.
Even still, he may have just lost a job and can only afford Minis at the time. Otherwise he'd just be harvesting avocados in Farmville.
Move might confuse them. 3D doesn't.
The vast majority of households - as high as 98% - are decidedly not getting 3D televisions this year. Besides the affluent and technophiles, the question is moot. Other than that the idea behind the technology is already familiar.
Move is confusing because it is not one product like Kinect. Move is one or more of three products: a camera, a control wand, and a sub-controller. Then some games can use two control wan...
Maybe he only plays games that are based on Norse mythology, making Too Human the last game he played?
I mean what other PS3 owner in their right mind wouldn't at least be interested in playing any one of the following: Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, God of War III, Final Fantasy and Modnation Racers.
Why do you keep posting this? Once not enough?
Ain't trying to be right or wrong. I just didn't understand what you were trying to say.
I was part of research projects in grad school, and work as a market research analyst now.
MNicholas is right, and I suspect it might be off as much as 10%. Our problem is sample. Often times we have sampling bias where a respondent is prone to a certain response.

that 36% isn't an adoption rate. If that was the case Blu-Ray could be said to have 64%. But it does support that digital distribution is here to stay which was kind of apparent.
It also shows physical media will always have its place, especially when you need a lot of capacity...like for games. And as long as technology and games improve generation after generation, we will always find reason that we need to use that extra capacity. So there ...
Not so much the hardware, but I wonder how much Kinect is going to divert development resources from hardcore 360 exclusives? First party games are too few and mediocre on the 360 now as it is.
With most independent devs going multi-platform, any Kinect games made outside of Microsoft games studios will cater to the lowest common denominator, Wii and Move games. Microsoft is going to have to make Turn 10, Remedy and Rare make these games for them.
