I'm in both GAP and PSN+ so I guess it was a sure thing for me. It sure is great that GAP was acknowledged for something. It has been forgotten in the corners of playstation.com for years.

Maybe my GAP membership card is good for something other than a pound of Orea cookies and a half gallon of milk every month.

I had 60GB fail on me, so I ran out and bought a 40GB. I keep the 60GB right next to its brother. I want to recover the data on it first before I send it in, but I haven't yet. I want to keep my GTA save data, and finish the game someday.

We had launch titles for the Move made for the Move - Don't agree with that assessment.

Greenberg spins Kinect's limitations into benefits. The types of experiences with Kinect are limited, so they have to look for new games experiences, but they are not doing that admirably better a job than Sony though. There are 5 fitness games, 2 Dance games and 3 Sports titles for the Kinect at launch.

Of course we can. Move is a great product...! I'm sure Kinect will be too.

Kudos for Greenberg for admitting it.

In terms of market share, Microsoft is falling behind other companies. Just because their other divisions (i.e., Windows) is able to pull a hefty profit doesn't mean their other division are doing okay. I'm sick of these "Well look at all the moneez" replies to the CNN article two days ago.

Every company has its struggles, and Sony is no different either as this article clearly illustrates.

You know what is hilarious? Many consider this a site for Sony fanboys. The vast majority of your comments tell me that 360 fanboys are alive and well on this site. I don’t mean you guys are trolls or anything, but you appear to this unabashed belief that Microsoft is the greatest thing since sliced bread and all the ups and downs typical for organizations trying to maintain market share and dominance in their respective businesses never occurs.

Everyone knows Microsoft ha...

If they move the technology beyond gaming...it could change how we use a number of technologies. I hope Microsoft have other, more functional ideas for Kinect. It is very promising as a technology even if you don't currently find it promising for gaming like myself.

IMHO XBox is probably the shining light for Microsoft. It is the other areas that having/have had problems. Kinect may be just the thing for Microsoft.

I fail to see your point. You probably don't see it either.

@ all you mofos.

Microsoft has struggles like any other business. I know you are sucking at the teats of Microsoft, but come on! Stop being fanboys for two minutes.

You'd think Microsoft owned all the money from what you say. It doesn't...far from it. Its lags market share - behind Google, Apple and Nintendo without exception - meaning apples to apples, Microsoft is getting whipped by the competition in all areas. You have to aggregate all their ...

Have you notice in Minority Report Cruise wears a glove that looks like it has miniature glowing Move Sensor Balls on the fingertips...that is what Kinect needs. I bet you can have rumble in the palms or something.

Fanboys scouring the interwebs for an answer to CNN article. FAIL.

Because you can have a jump in profits and still be disappointed. Imagine if the 360 had a 100% jump in sales in Japan, would you think it was outselling the PS3...no.

This doesn't absolve the real issues Microsoft has.

EDIT: Another disagree...am I going to ever get an actual reply?

Having more sales than Move I can see, but I see Kinect being for the ladies. Maybe I'd buy one for my girlfriend, especially if she looked anything like this...

@Nihilism

M.S makes several THOUSAND times as much profit per year. Are you daft? Maybe ten times...maybe. Apple profits are about 1.5 billion. Are you saying Microsoft pulls in 6 trillion a year.

LOL!!! Don't call anyone ignorant, ... like ever. Common sense my ass.

The 360 is doing fine, but it is stealing resources from areas Microsoft needs to perform.

Windows phone 7 is less than 5% of the market for smart phones. Android and iPhones have it on lock!

Windows 7 actually is doing well now because businesses are in clusterfuck trying to update after the Vista debacle. After that....chirping crickets.

They are equating Microsoft to IBM and Motorola in the 80's and 90's - companies that had mark...

Yeah Panasonic sucks. I've gone through hell with Panasonic clock radios. Cheap!

Samsung is my favorite for TV, much more than Sony. I like Toshiba too.

I liked Apple 15 years ago, but I'm not the consumer for Apple products. Still, they make good products as long as you don't want to upgrade them but buy a whole new computer in the next 3 years.

If you played the first game and enjoyed it, don't be disappointed. Much of his criticism could be placed on the first game, which was 7 pointer imho and I enjoyed it. People overlook the first game's flaws because the story was awesome.

So it short and repetitious, but how repetitious can it be if it is short?

I honestly think it was done at TGS because they don't want to confuse the American casual market. MS has surrendered all hopes of not being the #3 console in Japan.

They knew American core gamers would be watching TGS though, and we were. Better showing at TGS than E3 for Kinect imho.
