Independent devs make the best games. Nintendo has the best character line-up.
Cool. I'm taking a break from Borderlands to play the "Arrival" on ME2 - sure is a lot of walking. Can't wait to play this on my PS3 around Thanksgiving when I finish ME3.
Interest lost.
Won't last long.
Within a year from now Cliffy will wake up on his cot in his two room flat in Bangkok after a week's orgy on psychedelics, pain medication, and cheap Asian liquor with the idea of game he has to work on immediately.
Either that or he won't like being idle.
The title is obvious bait. I bit.
Why bring Sony into it and use rhetoric like dominate or miles ahead of the competition like Fudgehammer. Just tell the idiots to read the article instead of giving them the reaction they want. Vicious circle.
And technically, it is a hack.
Wow. Maybe Microsoft understands gamers more than I give them credit for. Don't see a problem if Kinect is added as long as you don't have to have it. Kinect needs its own games.
It may be the only Microsoft published game I buy for myself, but like they say "Jump In".
When you state the obvious, you are just being an asshole. It doesn't make you smarter or more clever.
We use the term buy one get two three. You don't see some jerk saying. It's not really free...you have to buy one first. Everybody knows its contingent on something. Stop being an jackass.
Holy Double Negatives - PS4 in 2013.
@air
Sony outsources their advertisements if that's what you're asking about. At first they sucked, but the outsourcer hired some folks to do it for them. That's how we got Kevin Butler and not scary baby dolls.
The ads have been few and far between, but what Morganfell says applies to that as well. Remember Microsoft has something called Windows, and very, very little overhead besides feeding the code monkeys. Their main role ain't a manu...
I got an off the wall theory. I think the Kinect bought some time for the PS4. I even think it may launch first.
My reasoning is the Kinect was effectively a launch. It moved a lot of 360s on its release, consumers who are not looking to buy something new in the next five years. Depending how committed MS is to casuals, I can't see them snubbing that market.
Maybe Kinect 2 should be seen as a separate console, with a life cycle out of step with the 360? I'...
I can see it if you can't go online or don't download games. It's all depends on how much you use your PS3 and vis-a-vis the 360 and Wii too.
I just have a PS3, so I guess it pays for me to play on a Playstation.
Anyhoo! Every PS3 owner should catch the free weekend and see for themselves.
It's a lot different. Before I didn't think I'd keep it either, but it charges automatically to my account. Now with this virtual library, it's geared to capture are wider audience.
If there are two or three or more games in the library you'd like to play it is worth it, largely depending how you use the discount and most importantly your PS3. If you are on N4G talking about games, you should try out what's available on the free weekend.

Frickin' awesome. I'm a lifetime Plus member fer sure if they keep this up. Games are what define a console experience firstmost, and there have been three games I've wanted to play but didn't buy (backlog) - Infamous 2, Borderlands and now Starhawk.
That's the cost of Plus, and I've downloaded a crap load of minis and games. With my Vita in the mix...? I've saved probably over $50 for the year after subscription. They're making PS Plus ...
Kinect really hasn't delivered, but it is a work in progress. Hopefully Microsoft will include its next iteration with its next console. But I take a wait and see approach with any of these companies anymore.
Not much of a boycott if he's the only one doing. One monkey don't ruin the zoo.
Doesn't he know Duke Nukem is supposed to be like that?
Shame on me for not playing the first one. PS Plus to the rescue with a free game.
The older you get the shorter your life will seem to be.
Think of it like the dual shock. Imagine a fire hazard, or even ubiquitous gunfire. A gimmick, but a gimmick can evolve to be a feature.
