Morpheus should track our movements with the gyroscopes and such. Seems to be the next step from what MS did with Kinect,...so I'm excited but skeptical. As long as there are no red vector lines...
Looking forward lustfully to both...but I'm more excited for a new IP. I'm sure Second Son will add to the series' gameplay but it doesn't seem to be anything revolutionary. Which may be a good thing cause I find the gameplay of Infamous to be near perfect.
What technologies they need to support immediately...?
DLNA support for PS4. It should have been there since launch.
The PS3 keeps on chugging as the 360 stalls. It may outsell Wii yet...lol.
Agreed.
I hate all these numbers being thrown around when the real judgment should be in the eye of the beholder. And I don't see to much of a difference graphically, at least nothing as disparaging as Ghostbusters was for the PS3.
I would like to see a double-blind experiment on which console is better graphically on a multi-platform title. I bet you all it would be a dead heat...that is until you put a number on it. Graphics are too subjective a crite...
Good for Sony. I'd rather a dev go exclusive for more intrinsic reasons than money.
What does it matter? You can't find a PS4 anywhere. I've been searching all month. They're going for $100 more than the XBox1 on the internet anyway. That's the only place I can find one.
Infamous is less than a month away too, damn't.
If you have a TV 40 inches or smaller, it shouldn't matter to you personally. If you have a 60 inch and are a graphics whore, the PS4 is for you.
Still the best reason for me is that Sony makes more of a variety games than Microsoft, not counting Kinect games.
That, and the resolution differences, is more testament to what I've been saying for years...Sony goes harder than other companies (sometimes hard failures, too), but especially Microsoft when...
More interested in inFamous's gameplay than its graphics. But thanks Geoff. I'd rather say I'm concerned about its gameplay; the smoke and neon powers don't look much different other than visual effects. I hope more videos are made available before I recommit to buying it.
There hasn't been any new IP's that I'd say I'm excited for besides Watch Dogs. Titanfall and Destiny just seem like more shooters like last gen, but I wait till they release to make a judgment.
Wow. That title is an oversimplification. Games get turned down all the time, I would think. Sony probably just casts a bigger net is all; MS probably focusing on big title$$.
Vote me down with Passive Attack, guys.
Let MS do good enough to keep the XBox relevant and your lil' fanboy war ongoing. It's good to see Sony hold its ground, but I always knew it would. These two companies compliment each other on their strengths and weakness - hardware/software and innovation/marketing. I am not saying go out and buy a XBox One - that'd be crazy - just know that MS keeps Sony on its toes, and vice versy, which in the end is good for all.
There is bad publicity...like when people walk away thinking you are overpriced and desperate.
If you talk enough shat, you're likely to step in it.
Ha! Wolverine would love that!
This is doubtful to me. Nintendo 1st party is family friendly, but I wouldn't call it childish. Nor would I expect EA to not consider a younger market, let alone a company that sold the most consoles. Seems too simple a comment not to come from a fanboy.
I think Nintendo has just made itself a non-factor, but not being on part with Sony or Xbox.
Cool to see the Vita get lots of love too.
what the chinese seem to do best...infringe
Sony needs to get out of the business of creating media formats, especially when better and less expensive alternatives exist. It is one of the things I hate about them as a company.
I absolutely love inFamous - my favorite IP for the PS3, hands down, but I agree with the spirit of what Sess said about it not being revolutionary enough. But how many sequels are truly revolutionary...?
Six is quite a questionable score to give. Even if his opinion is valid (heh, oxymoron), I say it deserves no less than a 7.5. Sess's comments later in the video seems to imply he is thinking differently about it too.
