@Lukas
Yes! Just throw those codemonkeys a banana and they'll work, chained to their keyboards, on AAA titles for us 16 hours a day with big grins on their mugs, while we get to enjoy the product of their hard labor.
For relz! These cats and their families need to get something for their sacrifice...DQ every third Tuesday or something.
Surface and Windows 8 need more critical attention than XBox. It is the one shining example MS has that they can be a hardware maker, even managing RROD'd XBoxes was kind of a success.
The new CEO seems to concede this to keep the core MS employee from thinking the 'old' MS will come back. However, his dedication to mobile may impact the overall standing of the XBox. Whether positively or negatively...no one knows.
I think that has more to do with the parity in technology of consoles (i.e., Nintendo), money-hatting by MS, and 3rd collaborations by all on sharing technology, resources, etc.. Not number of consoles sold.
Really, it's not as if the XBOne is not moving any games. Plus, left to any developer they are going to want their game on as many consoles as possible, and in the end it is all code. So with a game already made, the margin to put it out for that system can be too...
Well most publicly traded companies are interested in some sort of growth, not just piddling along stat quo. That means growing the business. A retracting market share from last year is never a good thing for the company.
Still, unless there is some healthy profit margin what is the use...? You are just wearing a big hole where you wallet pocket should be. I don't think either one has turned that corner yet.
For us, it doesn't mean a damn thing but...
@Palitera
NO, just good policy!
Sony does well with 3rd party when the hardware is dev friendly. MS has yet to seriously compete with Sony 1st party.
How is Time News click bait...?
Every major change at Microsoft the future of the XBox is questioned. The market is enough outside Microsoft's domain, that it constantly going to be "that other thing we're doing." MS committed to 3 generations...looks from the article he is committed to more. But the board will have the ultimate say...
Heavenly Sword was gorgeous and Nariko was breathtaking graphically and in gameplay. But the writing was the best out of everything I played last gen.
If they have to retract messages everyday, a good deal in their own damn company don't know what's going on...they and the whole XBox brand has problems you fanboys arent' even privy to. That's a lack a vision.
Going from Online to offline, DRM to no DRM, TV to games, 1080 to 720, Kinect to Kin-not, cloud to just so much hot air...so much spin doctoring you're liable to get dizzy.
Better hurry up an finish those games so you can delete them for Destiny, Drive Club, Order etc.
I didn't buy LBP2, but I might cop it again.
If Assassin's Creed was only that good...
Assassin's Creed
Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines
Assassin's Creed II
Assassin's Creed II: Discovery
Assassin's Creed II: Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed II: Revelations
Assassin's Creed III
Assassin's Creed III: Liberation
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Assassin's Creed Unity
I loved the first two...but they killed the series for me. Whatever they do, I won't bite.
Really Ubisoft, are you going to commit to delivering a cohesive experience or do you just want me to buy a game from you...?
I think it is the fact that Japanese do business different. They are a good deal more service-oriented; it is a pillar of their business culture.
Heard of Total Quality Management, big end of last century. Japanese had it first in the fifties, even if they got the idea from an American.
From www.venturejapan.com:
"When you enter a Japanese store or even a bar, you will be greeted by shouts of 'irrashaimase' (welcome) and when y...
Take the high road, man. That's just a few of the fanboys.
What comes with the Ghost Edition anywho...? First I've heard of it.
Wowzers...! Rantasaurus. Gelatos help me cool down. You should try one.
Sony understand that. They'll be scientific in how they'll pick and get the most reasonable price. Whether YOU like it is another story.
Looky! It's Mr. Me Too...!
It's PC v. consoles, and a massive weapon is need by the PC camp to win it. That seems to be the point of making the game from his video on his site. He is a PC elitist and wants a game that graphically murks anything on a console. Again from the video...looks like he has it.
The colors are a little cartoony, but the ship models are sick, sick, sick. I mean Lucas Arts sick looking. But game is going to have great gameplay, classic Wing Commander in a sandbox multipla...
