Trip in Enslaved looked like Nariko too, although Trip was clearly Caucasian and Nariko vaguely Asian. It is just the same art style. I wouldn't be surprised if this character is a red head too. I guess Ninjers like Gingers! LOL!
I do think this is at least a reimagining of the gameplay, if not story per se.
By virtue of their characters alone in that game...I'm buying this baby! I really, really have enjoyed Ninja Theory's characters, including Enslaved. But Heavenly Sword most of all. Bohan is an antagonist I almost hate to hate. His interactions with his son Roach was like first-rate comedy to me. Nariko and Kai's relationship fleshed out the future sacrifice...bringing tears to my eyes.

For me, outside of customization, what makes single player gameplay non-generic depends on whether it drives a storyline. And the werewolf is my favorite European monster. Everytime I see a zombie game, I think..."Why don't they ever make a game with(European monster). Most often I fill in the blank with werewolves.

The action and gameplay of that scene was 'meh' at best...something you see in every shooter. They probably saving the good stuff with the werewolves and the baddy at the end of the video for the real deal. We've already seen better and scarier too, so I'm not worried.
I remember when consoles went bust, and all I had were PC games and the weak cartridge games for my Vic20, 64, TRS-80, IBM PC and PCjr. Then NES and Robby the Robot brought it back. Overtime, as consoles gained more market share, the opposite seems true. All the games are console games, with PCs being an after thought.
