with all thats going on, they need to mass produce the copies, start up the marketing and have enough volumes to meet it's demand. then there is ofcourse websites and magazine to get the first copy. it's like how IGn recieved the final retail copy of GOW2 3 weeks prior to it's retail release. i think between now and the next couple of weeks we'll start to see reviews and hype build up even more for this game. as it takes about 3-4 weeks for a game to ship to shelves right after it goes gold. ...
first party devs will probably continue using there engine and refine it for the games to follow, while third parties will prolly use middle ware or use the PS edge tools if they were smart, but most arent.
FolkLOre was sold out for the first 2 weeks it hit japan. it's sold quite nicely. i know because i'm in japan and was had to take the train to Akihabara just to get the game from there.

in all honesty they should have just left out FM2 because that game look like pure last gen stuff compared to PGR4 and GT5... with that said Forza 2 looks like forza 1 in HD 720p nothing big or revolutionary in graphics. where as PGR4 totally looks revamped and looking beatiful. it's weather calculations are spectacular, and matches F1's weather calculations very nice. and the addition bikes makes it great. this game i'll be playing on muy Friends 360 alot. it looks sweet. now GT5 even thoug...
