until the part about PS2 having an external GPU, from what I understand the PS2 doesn't have a GPU and uses the emotion engine for graphics. This is why some games started looking better on the xbox1 towards the end of the generation. Sony quickly picked up on that and didn't make the same mistake twice. That being said, don't believe what the fanboys say, the RSX kicks the ever loving dog poo out of the 360 GPU.
is the THREAT that the PS3 and it's architecture represent to the pc industry. I have nowhere near the amount of interest or devotion I had to PC gaming now that the PS3 and it's cell processor are among us.
They (meaning the M$' of the world) saw this coming. The Valve's of the world saw this coming. The PS3 SPELLS THE END of American dominance of gaming software. THAT is why they fight it tooth and nail. Nothing more.
and it's subpar looking games, last gen storage and horrible reliability. I don't want graphically poor games that need to be upscaled by a "hanna" chip or whatever that gimmick is called. I want games the run on a true next gen platform that makes my HDTV shine like it's supposed to. So far the only one that has made any of my friends go "WOW" is the PS3. When they see the 360 in action they go "oh thats just pc graphics and not very good ones at that".
