400 million is ludicrous for the scope of the actual released [and now delisted] game. RDR 2 cost around 400 million or so and it is a massive game. Concord launched with 16 character, 12 maps and 6 modes which isn’t anything remarkable for a shooter. What was the developer doing with all that money, if the $400 million budget claim is true ?
Starfield did $235 million in revenue on Steam alone from Sept-December 2023. So I’m sure it sold considerably more than 2.5 million copies.

I’m wonder if Microsoft fully sold the Hi-Fi Rush IP. They kept the publishing rights of the original game. I don’t even understand why the IP was sold. MS could have had another of its menagerie of studios do another Hi-Fi game, despite such a thing being unlikely.
The push for all digital will make gaming less-and-less affordable due to lack of resales and trading. The companies all want more digital as it’s more profitable for them. Physical copies are launched with incomplete game data all the time, and I think this is intentional.
The mentioned graphics card might be paired with a better CPU than what is present in the PS5 Pro.
Ads for Black Ops 6 will likely be purely Xbox -focused as Sony no longer has a marketing deal for the franchise. Some people, especially parents who are non-gamers, might think the game can only be played on Xbox.
One thing to factor in here, is that while the official gun skin is similar to the artist’s commission, the commission itself isn’t inherently purely original. The artist did a commission of an in game gun designed by Bungie. He painted a different skin on a Bungie design.
I paid over 600 dollars for my PS5 almost 4 years ago. The PS5 pro will cost about a grand in Canada, I don’t think the performance increases will be consistent enough to justify the price. The power increase is on the GPU side, a 45% increase, but hardware has noticeable diminishing returns. Despite diminishing returns, why not improve the CPU too to balance the console? Furthermore, the lack of a disc drive is a bummer. While I’m starting to ease up to digital games. If I’m a big fan of a f...
I’ve always held the opinion that Halo 5 got way more slack than it deserved. Endless negative videos from rage-baiting YouTubers and blog posts from people who never played the game. Plus the toxic Halo community, complaining about a game endlessly, despite having 100 hrs + of playtime, lol.
The analysis of consoles shows the Series X performing better than the PS5 followed by the series S. The Series X is technically more powerful than the PS5, but has a less efficient RAM setup. Performance was good on all system when played in quality mod, but the performance mode wasn’t a solid 60 fps on any console. I think Space Marine 2 would benefit from a 1440p dynamic 40FPS mode series X and PS5.
I found the game to be rough in terms of performance when I played through it on series X. There’s a lot of awkward movement when traversing too.
Red Fall was a disaster due to Bethesda forcing a single player studio into live-service . Concord is just another title that was part of Jim Ryan’s long-term live-service plan. Jim’s live service ambitions, have lead to Sony overpaying for Bungie, numerous canceled projects, and a flop in Concord.
Some accounts on here just like to lie their a$$’s of ? Starfield was a platinium-tier seller on steam during its launch year ( https://store.steampowered.... I’m also not sure why the player count of a single player game matters in the long run. Player count is a critical metric for Concord.
Sony overpaid for Bungie. I don’t see Destiny could inflate Bungie to more than half the value of Zenimax and its IPs.
Microsoft bought all of Zenimax Media for 7 billion, while Sony paid 4 billion for Bungie. I think Microsoft got the better deal due to acquiring Fallout, ElderScrolls and Doom.
I have to admit of not playing COD since Black Ops 3, MW 2 (2022) was pretty good fun at first. The updates [particularly blatantly rigged spawns] and goofy ass skins ruined the game for me. For as simple as COD multiplayer can be, the games can be very fun and addictive.
A game with character designs like this ( https://x.com/KhaosKontroll... )wasn’t going to be attractive FPS fans. FPS GAAS has a saturation point, which it probably has already reached.
Seems the developer initially didn’t send out PS5 review codes. I was interested in getting this game for PS5. I didn’t fall for it being the second coming of “Jesus for Singleplayer games”, it was the setting that interested. Some reviews are calling the gameplay somewhat shallow. With the performance issues and low resolution textures the game would likely look bad on either of TVs (55 and 65 inch 4Ks). With bugs, performance issues and visual issues being present on the PS5, I think I will...
I good see the following pros and cons of playing as a ghoul.
pros :
1. Regeneration
2. Radiation immunity
cons:
1. Low charisma and bartering
2. Some NPCs will shoot a ghoul on sight, thus altering guests.
3. Potentially become a glowing ghoul. You emit radiation that can harm your companions but you are empowered by radiation. NPCs that tolerant ghouls may now not tolerant you.
The remasters likely have nothing to do with the PS5 Pro. Jim Ryan diverted funds from single player focused projects into GAAS which back fired. The remasters can be produced faster than new single player experiences that Jim Ryan stalled.
