Actually they still didn't achieve it and is short by about 200,000 units.
lol
The one thing that suggests the X1 caught up is simply because the PS4 just isn't much stock in the U.S.
Everytime it seems like there's stock, it's gone right away.
My sister is starting to pull her hair trying to capture one, and was even asking me if she should drop $500 on a craigslist one. I keep telling her to look at the local retailers closely and she keeps missing it lol
Before you guys go flaming
"Their [Xbox One's] delay in terms of launch is something that they have to decide. In India I have always frankly held that more the merrier. India is still in a market building phase, so more competitors, more publishers is much better."
That means he wants a growing market that will include Microsoft. No bad blood here.
It's safe to say many if not most people who actually owns a Vita really loves the device. It's those Sony haters that feed off the doom and gloom because the sales aren't high, just like the Wii U.
Who knows, there could be a certain price point ($149?) That could really make the sales take off since it will be more affordable for gamers of all ages.
^Exactly, I have like 8 games installed on my Vita which some are PS+ titles, but I really want to buy tearaway, injustice, and a few other games but don't quite have the money. That and I've been hooked on KZ merc.
Last gen graphics and animations, wonky controls, and poor gameplay. 1/5 is about right.
MGS4 is going to come out on the Xbox One. You heard it here first. If it doesn't, then ummm, it will definitely for sure 100% gauranteed come out on the Xbox One Two.
^juley
Except you are forgetting that the original Wii had an install base of like 80 million when that came out.
And I didn't say SM3D isn't selling, I said it isn't selling like it should despite being one of the best games to have ever come out.
No matter how you slice it, the install base of the Wii U isn't that big to move 3rd party software like Bayonetta.
That's the thing, as far as the actual device goes, the PS Vita is a fantastic one. I love my Vita and I play on it regularly. Just something about the feel of it really resonates with me.
As for games, yes I wish it had more big budget titles, but I actually really enjoy the small titles. That and honestly I can't afford to buy most of the games on there anyway seeing as how I'm already spending a lot on the PC and consoles (PS3/PS4)
The only thing that is "gimped" is the screen isn't it?
I can't watch the video right now at work.
I agree, Warframe does start to feel "samey" after awhile.
It's strange because the core game mechanics is actually pretty good. It's fun until, yeah you start feeling "Didn't I do this already?"
It's hasn't "failed" but it is "failing." Who knows, they could make a miracle recovery for all we know. Hardware revision, certain games, and maybe even that certain price point could make it come back to some sort of decent performance.
It won't sell. The install base on the Wii U is tiny and all people really want is more Nintendo games. Even then it's hard for those to sell too.
Look at Super Mario 3D World, one of the best games in general released and it isn't selling like it should.
That's true, all it needs is a simple re-branding.
Exactly.
Gamers should just give him a big middle finger.
Now he's going to get rewarded with millions and millions of sales on the Wii U. /rant
That's just the thing, those are launch titles. Alpha Protocol wasn't a launch title and had years of development, so it had no real excuse to be so bad.
That is true, the difference between what we get now versus what we get in the future won't be as wide as it was on the PS3.
The only thing is if they can harness more of GPGPU, but they can only stretch that GPU so far.
But you know I'm pretty satisfied so far already that they are even capable of doing most games at 1080p.
I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that the new consoles are x86, so it saves them a lot of time. I can't imagine them doing this type of stuff on the PS3.
Nope, regardless of how the PS4 outsold it, in actual console sales metrics the X1 is doing amazing for now considering all the negative PR and higher price tag. It shows crazy strong brand loyalty in the U.S.
Basically it's still going to make them a bunch of money.
Unless in a year the sales completely tank (which isn't likely)
