Yes, it'd be really pathetic. How can a current gen console be priced the same as a 10 year old console? If the only way MS can sell consoles is through being cheap then that's just sad and it truly is the poor man's PS3.

I don't think MAG is as horrible as you say. The graphics are obviously going to take a hit, it is 256 players after all. I can't say about the gameplay but from videos it looks like fun.
Sony won E3 for me. All the game shown/announced was better than Natal. I don't see what's so great about Natal and I don't think MS should have "won" just because of it.

That's exactly how I felt. Microsoft was very underwhelming. Although I will be buying Fable 3, I expected a lot more.

The 360's been cheap for a LONG time. If anyone is waiting for price cut then it's a price cut down to $99. This won't help MS.
It's all about Sony and PS3 from now own. Remeber PS1 and PS2 didn't really take off until their 3rd/4th years so PS3 is just in time to burst out. Perhaps Sony will meet their expectations of 100 million units sold.
Very interesting article. They should have also included that Sony went into consoles because Nintendo refused their disk based add-on. Nintendo basically created their own successors.
Sony does have the best First Party and all the great titles they produce are TRUE exclusives. It's one of the defining features of the Playstation Family. Once the PS3 takes off, 3rd party exclusives for MS will drop and that's when they'll be in real trouble. I bet SCC, Mass Effect 2, Gears 3, etc will all land on the PS3 once the install base is too big to ignore.
