MS can drop the price all they want, fact is their console is cheaper than the wii and they're still getting outsold. People are NOT waiting for a 360 price cut so it Wouldn't have much effect. The best thing MS can do right now is just brace themselves and try to survive for a few years once again under Sony dominance.
New IPs which is why I like the PS3. MS sticks to sequel after sequel and takes no risks. Sony takes more chances on games such as LBP and Heavy Rain. Always innovating. In fact, without Sony GTA would never have been as big as it is and all because they took a chance.

The 360's main selling point was price. MS can't sell consoles unless they're cheap. With a cheaper PS3, people won't be forced to buy a 360 due to money limitations.
Instead, today DVDs still outsell Blu-ray titles by ten to one, and the future belongs to streaming media and video on demand.

GT has been around for 15 years. It's got better graphics then Flopza and it's on ONE disk. Forza won't be dethroning anyone. If you go to Europe or Japan and ask about Forza they won't know what you're talking about. But if you say Gran Turismo they'll immediately know.
