Sales don't matter I just mention them because bots like to say 360 is #1 when in fact the Wii is. And as I've said before PRICE is a HUGE factor in which console sells the most. PS3 was 150 dollars more than the wii thus the would mean the it would sell at a slower rate. The wii also managed to capture the casual crowd which was a big win for Nintendo.

Well, I don't know if MS paid or not (I think they did); however if they did pay I don't see why they would. FF XIII is still exclusive in Japan where it sells over 50% of it's copies. MS should have gotten a simultaneous release in Japan to really try and stop the PS3s momentum. I have a feeling that SE are going to announce a Japanese 360 version simultaneous release at TGS as the "big" announcement.
The 360 is also HALF it's original price right now Mart. Both companies have had price cuts.
Mart, MS has been making all the wrong decisions. Think about it.
1st: They rushed out to try and beat Sony which worked in the short-term, however they ended up loosing over a billion due to RROD and other issues. They also went with DVD instead of Bluray. Heck the first 360s didn't have HDMI port. MS didn't intend it to be HD console.
2nd: The lowered their price too fast to stay competitive and now at $199 they can't or rather will have a hard time dropping it any...
Yea sure. What you're saying is true, but price is also a huge factor. Anyways, Sony would still win on games. What system seller does the 360 have? Everyone who wanted Halo already has a 360. Gears 2 sold the same as Gears 1 which means the same people who bought the first, bought the second and thus a hypothetical Gears 3 wouldn't sell systems. PS3 has got perhaps the biggest game in the world coming and it's name is GT5. In Japan, FF XIII is also a huge system seller.

It won't help at all. The 360 is already $199, people are NOT waiting for a price cut especially a price cut for an SKU that is more expensive than the arcade. If people haven't bought a 360 at $199 it means they just DON'T want a 360.

Probably the inferior 360 version causing the delay. They're trying to compress the game as much as possible and make sure it doesn't RROD 360s like ME2. The PS3 version could have perhaps gotten a worldwide release had MS not ruined yet another game.
You know, other than FF, I think Sony should ban Square from PS. See how they like it when the PS3 sells 10 million in japan. I'm pretty sure Wada's days are numbered.
I think that the PS3 version is done already and in English since it's going to release this year in Japan. The reason it's taking so long is probably because they're still finishing up the 360 version. The recent articles said that they were having troubles compressing the game to fits in as little disks as possible so maybe the 360 version is holding up a possible worldwide PS3 release.
MS has cornered themselves. They dropped the price so rapidly that they can't drop it anymore. They decided to buy out exclusives instead of building up first party and now they have very little exclusives, they decided to rush out 1 year early and their console is extremely defective. While it may seem like MS was taking good steps I'd say that they have had done nothing but bad decisions in an attempt to beat Sony which will ultimately proof futile.

Tell me, does being in "second place" make you enjoy the 360 more? If the 360 was in third would you still enjoy it? What do YOU get out of sales? If being in third means GOTY exclusives and great features then I hope PS4 is also in third.
yup, they'll be here again next-gen. The only way Sony will consider backing out of the console market is if they fail at least two times in a row. So far they haven't failed once, so unless PS4 and PS5 fail then they'll be around for a long time. Only Nintendo can outlast Sony.
Sad isn't it. The 360 is almost as cheap as a PS2, a 10 year old console.
