No, it tells you that there's more educated people with better taste in games. SCC is an MGS4 wannabe. Just like Forza is a GT wannabe. MS can't come up with anything original.
NA is the only place where the 360 truly does beat the PS3. The PS3 is a much more well known brand worldwide than xbox.
Looks like a great game limited by the 360's inferior hardware and limitations. What's worse is that we KNOW there's a vastly superior PC version that won't get released.
Better hardware, better features, better value, more exclusives, affordable price point. 360 can't compete with that.PS3 will outsell the 360 by July 2010, and MS will announce a new 360 to be released in 2011.

These games are way too different to compare! Climbing up a ledge and shooting a guy in Splinter Cell is so much more of a unique experience than climbing up a ledge and shooting a guy in Uncharted!

I'll play both on PS3, but Uncharted 2 will clearly be the best. PS3 exclusives always break expectations and push the PS3 further. Uncharted 2 GOTY 2009. And yes, SCC will be coming to PS3. It's quite obvious MS payed for timed exclusivity. If it doesn't well it really doesn't matter.
PS3 pricecut is working because it was EXPENSIVE. The 360 is already INEXPENSIVE and therefore a price cut won't help. People who haven't bought a 360 are NOT waiting for a price cut, they just don't want want.
Kojima realizes the real potential of PS3. By the time his new IP is ready to go the install base of the PS3 will be double what it is today so I'm sure that this will be exclusive. Kojima wouldn't sacrifice quality.

MS knows this won't have any effect. The reason behind is primarily to make sure they don't have a more expensive console than the PS3 since it wouldn't sell. How many elites did people buy a 399? Very little, most people went for the arcade and pro. People aren't willing to pay a high price for the 360 and reducing prices is the only way MS can sell games. Even at 399 the PS3 still sold well. If the 360 cost 399 it would have been dead long ago.
I went to my walmart (yes I know it's just one place) and there were no PS3s. There were however 360 elites, pros, arcades, and Wiis. 399 is a lot of money especially in these hard times yet people continued to buy the PS3. Is the PS3 was selling pretty much equal to the 360 worldwide at double the price than imagine how much it'll sell at 299. The next two months (sept. and oct.) are HUGE months for Sony. PS3 slim, PSP GO, GT mobile and Uncharted 2 all within 2 months.
