@ Nick, that's exactly what I'm saying. see my post in the gamer zone. The PS3 will currently sells around 130k in NA, 40-50k in Japan and around 100-160k in Europe. So worldwide the PS3 is selling between 270k-310k per month. PS3 slim sales will double that amount and thus according to your article it'll take a year.
What's worse is the 360 came out a year earlier. If the PS3 surpasses it it'll be HUGE embarrassment for MS.
The PS3 sells around 130-150k in NA each month. If sales double in NA it'll be selling around 240k+. I guess the numbers seem too low to be worldwide; however, if the calculations are correct than I'd expect the PS3 to surpass the 360 within 1 year zone.

How come he only takes American sales into account. If the PS3 sells 200k+ in NA + 200k+ in EU + 100K+ in japan it'll be selling around 500-600k per month WORLDWIDE. If he's calculations are right it'll take the PS3 from 10-14 months to surpass the 360. July 2010 is my guess.

I think they made R2 too much like other FPS. I'd rather they stuck with the system they used in R1. I especially miss the Weapon wheel. It was like a mature ratchet FPS. But it doesn't take away from what R2 offers, especially the online.
I prefer my PS3 so don't attack me but the life bar is one of the reasons I preferred Resistance 1 over 2. I really liked the single player, weapon wheel, and health bar of the first. The multiplayer in the R2 is much better, but the single player lacked compared to R1.

Very good decision if I may say so. You will not be disappointed with the PS3 and it will last you for years. Make sure you get up to speed with games. Many exclusives are rather cheap today so it's not too expensive to build up a quality library of games. Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Resistance are all good games to get and they can be found from 15-25 bucks. Good luck and welcome to PlayStation.

I do have a 360, sent me a message if you want. You're right that the glitch doesn't let me replay, but from what I played I don't see too many reasons to go back. Don't get me wrong, it is a good game and I'll buy it when I see one of the deals if it hits 10 bucks.

The 360 is obviously much better. The 8 million lead makes me enjoy it so much. When I play my favorite game ever Halo 3 I think about the millions it's sold and I swell with pride and enjoy it more. Even though I don't get a cent for the sales, it makes me so happy :)
haha, notice how the bots didn't respond to the bet. ME 2 and SCC are both coming to the PS3. The 360 only has Alan Wake for 2010 (which will come to PC shortly after).
