Once PS3 starts outselling the 360 MS will pull out once again and screw all of us over by starting yet another generation early. (Thus we all have to spend hundreds to move to next gen).
Like many have said, customers aren't waiting for a 360 price cut. The thing is already 199. Customers are, however, waiting for a PS3 price cut.
Oh, and xbox live isn't free. Sure silver is, but the main feature is online gaming for which you have to pay.

Except the Iphone offers phone capability while the PSP GO offer game capability. The Iphone has games but they don't compare. Either way it's your choice.
PSP + 16 gig memory card= same price of PSP GO. Yes, it's expensive, but it's only for those who want the smaller size and dl games. Anyways, I'm sure Sony will drop the price after Dec.

GT5 will outsell Flopza easy. Flopza isn't even in the same league.
Don't worry man, you're not alone. My TV is also just 720p (I bought quite a while ago) but the PS3 still looks fantastic. I'm aiming to buy a full HD sometime next year though.

I enjoyed Killzone 2's stories but the end was really frustrating. Now I can't wait for Killzone 3.
GT5 and Flopza shouldn't be in the same sentence. Flopza is a disgrace to racing simulators and Turn 10 are a disgrace to all developers out there with the amount of ignorance they show.

The Slim is going to sell like crazy. According to their estimations the PS3 will sell roughly twice as much in september (around 600k) than in August. PS3 is already ahead of the 360 ...
While August will be interesting, don't expect the price cut and slim to take full effect until September. Once we see September NPD we'll have an idea of how much the slim will help Sony.
PS3 sales should see further increase with the release of the PS3 Slim perhaps over 50%. I also expect 360 sales to slow down 30% after the PS3 Slim. If played right and advertised, the PS3 has a chance to close the 8 million gap rather quickly.
With the release of FF XIII in Japan and a possible 2009 release of GT5, PS3 can only go up from here on out.

2. Stocks of the existing model are starting to become quite low in the US - indeed the entire reason for the price cut is to get rid of the last of the stock to make way for the new model.
Looks like 30% increase with current models is just amazing. The slim should put PS3 sales above 50%. There are very little amount of fat PS3s still available (I haven't seen one in days), and I think preorder...

Rediculous, it would be stupid to make it exclusive. The fanbase is with PlayStation and i mostly sells in Japan. Connect the dots. Anyways, it's already confirmed multiplat so why bother HHG? Can't you just leave N4G alone.
MS themselves said they'd stay on the market 1 day longer than PS3. I don't see that happening.
