The Witcher 3 tops my most wanted list.

Zelda Wii U is a must-buy.

Quantum Break looks interesting. Uncharted 4 looks okay.

It's not mentioned, but Halo 5 can suck my balls. I just used a 48-hour trial code so I could play the Beta and it's complete shit. Half the time the controls don't respond and the other half the lag is so bad that my opponent's kill cam shows them shooting at thin air.

Not an evolution. More like a spiritual successor.

I've never considered "linear" to be a valid criticism of video games.

Half-Life 2 was "linear". God of War was "linear". Halo: Combat Evolved was "linear".

They were also classic, KICK-ASS games as well.

Same here. RE4 holds the record for my longest personal gaming marathon session at just over 18 hours.

This is true. However, in some cases, you still have to download several gigs of data from Steam even AFTER installing the game from disc. A perfect example of this was Batman: Arkham Origins. The game came on three discs(!), yet you still had to download 9 gigabytes(!) of data afterward. Total BS.

And no, it wasn't DLC or patches, either.

DmC and Enslaved were ports of games designed around the limitations of consoles. This game is being built from the ground up.

Anybody want to buy my PS4?

Um..gee..ooh..ahh, should I support game content being held hostage unless I pay money for a product is not actually available?

NO.

"Since all sniper shots have a small trail behind them, it is very unsettling to see such trails sticking through an enemy player’s helmet without any damage received."

That's called "lag", and it stems from having shitty internet service.

For some reason, I read your comment in Scotty's voice. I mean James Doohan, of course.

Simply put, ladies and gentlemen: make publishers EARN your money. Don't just hand it to them based on the promises of a few CGI trailers and vertical slices of PC-build gameplay. Demand an end to the practice of in-game content being withheld as "additional con...

Seconded.

I played ESO for about 10 hours and never touched it again. Honestly, who the hell was even ASKING for an Elder Scrolls MMO anyway?! Methinks Bethesda took a gander at all that WoW money and got greedy.

Personally, I'm good with with either one. To be honest, I'd love to see how Bethesda's next Elder Scrolls competes graphics-wise compared to a pimped-out Skyrim!

It's ridiculous, isn't it? The shit that gets approved on this site...

That's true. BUT...

If it's worth your time, it's worth your money.

There is simply no valid argument to the contrary that doesn't reek of entitlement.
