"...in hopes that America can one day again be a shining example of freedom, free of the DMCA and ACTA, and that private interest will never trump the ideas laid out in the constitution of privacy, ownership, and free speech."
That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
Freedom for others to take the content you created and own and freely distribute it without your consent?
Freedom for Indie or underground artists to get ...
If Namco goes bankrupt, someone else could just buy up their studios and talent.
If Sony buys them, it'd be a great thing. Tales series could become a proper AAA JRPG series.
Ridge Racer, Tekken, etc would all have the necessary budget and direction needed to become AAA games.

Only when you're IGNorant. ^_~
@undercovrr
Yes, that's why Jim Sterling's a troll.
Also the main reason why people no longer view Destructoid as a good source for video game news anymore... if they did in the first place.
GT5 or real life?

Looks like it has more potential than the new DMC. >:D
I don't know why they didn't use a more Japanese design for the characters though.
Games like MGS and DMC (not the new one) had mainly westerner characters yet they're able to retain the Japanese design which makes them look so awesome in the first place.
He's a bi-polar attention seeking reviewer with a holier-than-thou act.
Just move along.
Merc, its not that he uses the full scale.
Its that he abuses it.
Just look at his review for Deadly Premonition giving it a 10/10 compared to everyone else scoring it with 5's or lower.
He does it only because he wants attention. Even Eurogamer and Edge use the full scale better than Jim Sterling.
Looks pretty nice.
Because 3DS is overpriced compared to its technology and specs.
NGP will be underpriced compared to its technology and specs.
How much underpriced? We don't know.
Most likely outcome:
WiFi model = $300
3G model = $350
"There really is nothing like these types of experiences on the PC -- that's why I find myself constantly pulled back to the couch. In addition to that, they hit some of the same chords that a classic PC gamer appreciates: immersion, emergence, and integrated narrative."
Bluray's not needed. XD
Great comment. Very true.
Why would people disagree? More voice options, the better.
We're shaking in fear! XD
I agree.
A "certain console" has a pretty laughable library this year. >:D
Which is why more Japanese devs need to start going to Sony.
Or Sony should start finding more Japanese devs.
Seriously, if only Sony had as many Japanese titles/studios as they do Western ones. >_<
Think of all the AAA JRPG's and the diversity!
Development for Ico started in 1997 for the PS1, it released in 2001 as a PS2 game.
We don't like the COD milking, and we definitely won't like it if Capcom starts doing that too.
