I won't say botw was the best, i enjoyed it and it sucked many hours outta me (weve had this discussion before) but I still feel as tho twighlight princess is a better Zelda game while windwaker is my favorite.

Yo definitely thus, I'm tired of this bullshit argument that people mostly only want multiplayer when this year alone you have games like horizon zero dawn, nioh, persona 5, Zelda botw, nier automata and such selling millions upon millions of copies.
I guess it just takes more effort to make a decent single player game and it's a hell of a lot harder to shove microtransaction in them. Guess that's why these clowns just default to churning out multiplayer focused...

That's not even the big problem here either, it's a smaller roster than vanilla mvc3 with 70% reused assets with a season pass announced before the game even drops as well as no marvel characters and worse graphics.

It was ok for me, I liked it way more than its garbage sequels both of which seemed rushed for a profit.
The core concepts of the game were oh so promising but they just fell short of what was capable. I do truly miss the battle music tho...
Actually he @off road is right, that list of yours is absolute quality but it is pretty short. The console is fairly new and well when compared to the competition....sony not MS, the pickins are pretty slim so it can easily sell well to a console that's not overestimated.
Tho I hear the game is damn awesome and I will scoop it when I get my switch this fall.
Attach rate is a horrible way to look at things, especially for a game that released on a console that has had an almost overestimated flood of high rated games since last year.
More consoles do equal more potential consumers but more games on said console equals more competition for your release to try and beat out.

The demographic that the switch is targeted at is not the same as the one GTA is trying to appeal to. Not only that but logically speaking do you honestly think 60 million+ consoles wouldn't sell more copies of a game like GTA than a competitor with say what a couple mil.

@moldy, Sony has a history of not putting out exclusives between Sep to Nov because it's just good ads business. Exclusives didn't quit mattering just because they did this. We just weren't stupid as to ask why.
This year we got at least 1 to 2 exclusives every month, hell the first quarter we got 3 exclusives each month.
MS has only released one big game this year back in February but that's okay for you right? Lets deflect it back on Son...

I don't think it passed it as of yet, horizon zero dawn was recorded selling through 3.4 million copies as of April 30. Zelda is just now selling a little over half a million more than that almost 3 months later.
So unless horizon hasn't sold anything in the last 2 and a half months then I doubt Zelda passed it.
Yes I don't agree with making it super open world, prime was known for its puzzle structured style worlds and heavy backtracking and while most games are horrible at this concept the metroid prime series handled it beautifully and should not stray to far from this design.
