Lol this list could honestly just be filled with legend of zelda games alone
Damn good times, lived playing it with my uploaded sound track on my ps3
It's one 3rd what Amy Henning was touting so sorta yeah. It's probably the middle ground for AAA game development.
Hell didn't GTA 5 cost 250 mill to create.
Part of it is just dumb direction, you don't need a million writers and hella big name voice actors to produce a good single player experience.
Look at games like dark souls, Breath of the wild, hellblade, nierautomata, super Mario oddysee, gravity rush 2 and nioh. All amazing single player games that focus more on the artistic and gameplay aspects of their game and less on overpriced voice actors, cutting edge visuals and over cooked writing.
Games l...
.....better fan base, better games??
If you are anything to go by then I wouldn't call the Xbox fan base a "better fanbase". As a matter a fact people with the mentality of "ps doesn't exist in my house" are better off not bring that toxicity to the PlayStation community.
Also lol at better games. You guys can barely get exclusives to begin with let alone better ones.
Same, a couple years ago I was playing till like 3 in the morning knowing I had to be at work at 6.
Hell now thanks to a full time job, part time school and weight lifting not to mention making time for friends and family I barely can get in 8 hours to gaming a week.
Good thing Sony has multiple 90+ games and a ton of 80+ games as well.
A shit load of quality games can have a big impact. That's what I feel like people forget.
Either that or people try to move goal posts to help their system look better like saying it wasn't developed by Sony so it shouldn't count...like who gives a shit, if it's exclusive to Sony's platform and Sony's platform is a large chunk of why its successful then yes it&...
Lol damn show me on the doll where n4g touched you.
Exactly this, people defend them and they just love JACKASSES like him. Bet he'll buy plenty of MTand cut content.
It's honestly sad because metroid prime is one of the greatest nintendo games ever made.
Part of its lackluster sales is because the gamecube itself didn't really sell a whole lot. Other games like windwaker and luigi's mansion suffered lacklust sales because of this and their sequels were reduced to handheld games.
Loved prime to absolute death, prime 2 was great to but 3 didn't really need to happen.
Hmmmm @V come on bro you don't even believe the shit you just said.
Persona 5, gravity rush 2, gt sport. Nioh, nier, MLB, ff12 re, crash, tales, wipeout, Yakuza, horizon...
I mean damn was it even close.
Oops took the bait...
I always see people quote those same few games as if it's common for games to sell like that. Most of those games have had large amounts of installments and sequels along with very basic and easy to access gameplay with no real thought needed to play them. Not saying they're for idiots just saying those are the instant gratification type of games for casuals to lap up.
Games like persona, monster Hunter, dark souls and the like typically require patience or a time i...
Lol yeah that's a bit of fanboy sputter, I mean damn the console just came out and has a great year of games but the ps4 has been utterly explosive these last 2 years and 2018 is shaping up to be just as good.
Not to mention when it comes to jrpgs sorry but the ps4 still holds that crown. Ni no kuni 2, persona 5, nier, ff12 remaster, disgeae 5, ff7 remake, bloodborne...its really not much of a competition.
There is a press event the day before, look it up.
MLB the show, wipe omega collection, gt sport as well
For once I actually agree with @moldy
Fully built from the ground up remakes are absolutely great. Think ratchet and clank, ff7 re and shadow of the colossus.
It's half assed r emasters that are the problem, games like phantom dust remake and shit like that.
If your just going to do a resolution bump then give people bang for their buck like master chief collection and rare replay.
I would rather a complete from the ground remake of majoras mask with refined mechanics similar to ps4 ratchet and clank and shadow of the colossus.
Imagine seeing the moon hurling towards clocktown in an amazing graphical spectacle. I'd have to let it hit termina just once.
This still gives me goose bumps

@red
I think your statement went over everyone's head, it was funny tho.
Thats hella cool, the theme i mean
