I'd still like to see a Mad Max sequel. I'm enjoying the hell out of it, but there is room for improvement.
This is insanely low.
Mad Max is easily an 8-9/10 game. DO NOT KILL THIS FRANCHISE, it can grow to be much more, like Assassin's Creed did with AC1 and then AC2.
Got it yesterday and I must say it's just one of those games you can't really stop playing. Something is always happening, it grips you tight and you just can't seem to stop.
Absolutely gorgeous, running wonderfully, combat is brutal and heavy and everything vehicle related is simply balls to the walls insane. I LOVE IT.
No one seems to understand that Nvidia just does Async Compute differently from AMD. Hardware support is there, software support isn't up to scratch yet, that's the only async compute "problem" Nvidia users are having right now.
I finished it in it's broken state and I was waiting for this patch to finish new game +.
I'd rather Kojima stays independent so all of us can enjoy his future work.
May be AMD hardware, but it's not the same hardware.
Yeah, because he waited so long just so he could make more games the likes of the original Metal Gear :D
Whatever Kojima's up to, I seriously hope it makes it's way to the PC. MGS:GZ and Phantom Pain on PC are like a dream come true.
All I can say is:
Lol.
Nvidia is better at DX11, AMD could be better at DX12.. Hmm.
Still, I tried the Ashes of the Singularity bench on my system, an i5 3570k @ 4.1GHz and a GTX 970.
Got a near 100% increase in framerate with DX12 (28fps DX11 vs 52fps DX12), but I was still CPU limited.
Got my key with the new Nvidia drivers.
The score won't stop me. What's currently stopping me from enjoying the game is Coalition keeping their mouth shut about the PC version. I mean come on, we know absolutely nothing about it.
Give us a release date!
More like a PS2 game.
The PS4's dip to 30fps is because of the double buffered Vsync. If the hardware can't hit 60fps, the framerate gets locked to the next step - 30fps.
Xbox One clearly doesn't have double-buffered Vsync but some other solution, possibly triple-buffered or adaptive.
Gameplay is where it's at, and it's pretty much the same thing performance wise.
The reason the PS4 version hits 30fps is because of the double-buffered vsync, which obviously isn't used in the Xbox One version.
When framerate drops below 60 in such cases, vsync locks the framerate at the next step - 30fps. Without the double buffered vsync, the PS4 would probably/possibly match the Xbox One performance in such demanding cases.
Games shouldn't be used as a playground for gender battles. Any sort of political and social battles, actually.
People keep forgetting games are an entertainment medium and should be kept as such.
Every single person should play it, it's really amazing. It's a bit on the short side and once you get used to it, it's not that difficult, but it's so much fun it's absurd.
AMD cards didn't fare that well in Ground Zeroes, though. I outperformed a 280x with a GTX 760, and a GTX 680 ran it as good as a 290x. Just a heads up.
I consider remasters unnecessary. Either remake or GTFO.
The Darkness 1 trumps those games easily. It's such an amazing game that I'm sad again they went with the over-the-top and comic book look with the sequel.
