You can remove the question mark from the title.
There comes a time when a toaster can do 60+fps in Source games. This is that time.
Remedy is to Microsoft something like what Insomniac was to Sony. Not really their property, but they have an extremely close relationship with them so they mostly do exclusives for MS. Things can change, however, as they have with Insomniac.
Barely anything was downgraded, texture quality possibly. But it stands to reason the reveal trailer was PC footage, so the "downgrade" isn't really a downgrade at all.
This is a far cry from what they did with Far Cry 3 and 4 (get it?). https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Speaking of which, where is the PC version?
Come on, Dead Space 3 wasn't THAT bad. It was actually a pretty good game, on par with DS2. DS1 still reigns supreme.
Really? Because I don't remember 3DM ever cracking anything Denuvo related to it's fullest extent. All of their cracks are broken one way or another. And yet, they'll "suspend" their cracks for a year while they haven't actually "cracked" anything since their piss poor attempt at Mad Max and MGS5.
It's a shame that no one's cracked Denuvo, really. If Arkham Knight wasn't cracked, I would have bought it blindly and would still...
Far Cry 3.75?
..and MGSV wasn't really fully, properly cracked.
If you really are desperate for an upgrade, find an i7 2600k/2700k/3770k. That will give you a bigger boost than the 6600k for more than half the price.
Any processor with a decent enough IPC, aka any quad core or more Intel CPU since Sandy Bridge is perfect for gaming.
I do agree that the 6600k is more powerful than his 2500k or my 3570k clock per clock, but there was no important change in motherboards since then and the performance difference is not significant enough to merit that kind of investment. Plus, with DX12 on the horizon, CPU performance will shoot up in games anyways.
Not unless they make the gameplay challenging. That's what's missing in the AC formula.
And the crowd goes who cares?
Considering that most of the games struggle to maintain a solid framerate at 1080p, 4K is a wet dream for consoles and many PC players alike. Consider this myth busted for AAA games. Indies like PixelJunk games, maybe.
On what grounds? Being too good for others to be competitive?
They shut down the servers, I can't log in. "Could not connect to the Steam network". They're fixing it.
Wouldn't count on it.
Kojima didn't snub Microsoft. His new studio is really small at the moment. They can't afford developing for multiple platforms nor can they afford not getting publisher support.
Kojima has always worked closely with Sony and was really predictable that his first independent game will be backed by Sony. Win-win for both sides.
What I did not expect, however, was the eventual PC release. That caught me by surprise, but I guess you can't ignore...
I meant well, wasn't skeptical. Dirt Rally is awesome!
I like both, a tough call for me. Why not both? :)
