Yep. That's what she said!
At least it was an interesting read.
Prevalence is the number of total occurrences in a population at any given time. Incidence is the number of new occurrences in a population over a given time period.
In the case of the 360 S I would imagine that the prevalence is really low considering there aren't many confirmed incidences and it has only been available for a couple of weeks. So ViciousBoston's assertion that the the RROD problem is a prevalent is ever is likely patently false in the context of the 3...
You read it here, folks. Premier online retailer shopto.net confirms that Kinect is doomed due to low preorders!!!
Keep fighting the good fight, console warriors!
The console warrior uses every weapon in his arsenal. Some weapons are less powerful than others.
Ooh, a thread full of listwars!
Here's mine:
#1 Games
#1 Blu-ray movies
I love movies as much as I love games. Maybe even more.
Yep. Amazon has a lot of their EC2 cloud infrastructure there. Great environment for IT.
Apparently he thinks so.
To be honest I could dump cable and still watch all of my favorite shows using Hulu. $10 for all you can eat HD TV programming really isn't that all bad. I pay for cable and I still have to watch commercials, so what's the difference?
What makes it sweet is being able to take it with you. I've been jonesing for an iPad and this could make it worth it.
That was a good read. It's good to see there are some 3D games that use the 3D image as more than just a gimmick. I really want to see the Super Stardust HD gameplay now!
Most people believe that it doesn't happen. Until it happens to you.
The automatic download stuff sounds phenomenal!
Not bashing on PSN, don't get me wrong. Any network slows down under heavy usage. One of my gripes since I got my PS3 more than 3 years ago is that when new updates are released or the PlayStation store is updated the time it takes to download stuff can soar depending on how popular the update is. I've waited more than an hour to download a firmware update in the past, while my other devices enjoy faster speeds on the s...
Good to see Sony making money on the PS3. Profitable platform means continued support. Sounds good.
First place, last place. What does it matter?
EGM was the first gaming magazine I ever subscribed to. I started reading it back in 1989 or so while I was working in a grocery store. I subscribed through the 1990's.
I think I'll pick it up if I can find it on the newsstand. The nostalgia factor will be high.
Several people I work with waited in line for an iPhone. What's funny about it is that if you hold it a certain way your hand can block the signal. Death grip on the phone. Something that people waited in line for like that dropping calls just based on how you hold it. Crazy.
It's still a cool piece of kit.
I've hit some Heavy Rain glitches, but none have been game breaking. I don't really play many shooters or RPG's, so I haven't encountered many of the others.
VGChartz is a funny thing. People will praise it to support their position on one hand, and then blaspheme it on the other when it doesn't suit their needs.
Does it really matter whether PS3 or 360 is selling the most at this point? Both are already successful. Both are moving games. Neither are catching Nintendo. So does it really matter who is winning the race for second place?
I was thinking it, so I'll just agree with you.
Is it stealing if people give them away? It's not like Microsoft sneaks into your home at night and steals a dollar from the nightstand.
The bigger danger is giving them credit card information. It's awfully hard to cancel a recurring Gold membership.
I have Jet Grind Radio for Dreamcast and Jet Set Radio Future for the Xbox. Jet Set Radio Future was one of my favorite Xbox games. So much fun.
While Sega's on the Dreamcast train they could spin up Jet Grind Radio for PSN/XBL. If they really wanted to make me happy they would make a new Jet Grind Radio game.
