I'm not convinced. They need to beta test this with real players before they release it.
I don't know if this guy is telling the truth, because it is really one person's word against the other. But it wouldn't surprise me if the service center did remove the original drive and forget to put it back. And there's practically no way to track it down.
I've had similar issues, but not with my PS3. I had a laptop come back without the original hard drive because the service center removed it. My original drive was lost and mine came back with a new ...
Yeah, the original story already appeared.

This is a continuation of the same story.
Wow, this guy has no concept of difficulty if he was 4 when Street Fighter II was released. Games like Battletoads, Ghosts and Goblins and Mega Man back in the NES days probably would have had him curled up in the fetal position. So many game over screens to be seen.
I find it a bit frustrating that challenge in games has largely been replaced by cheap (I'm looking at you SF IV's Seth!). Games back then weren't as flashy, but you truly had to practice to be able t...
It's one of those games that when I pick it up I can't put it down. But once I do put it down I don't touch it for a couple of weeks. Still haven't finished it.
That thing was hard to read. I just gave up.
This restructuring combined with their make.believe universal marketing campaign is doing great things for Sony in my opinion. They finally have focus across the organization and a consolidated message that carries over to everything they're doing.
Incidentally, the make.believe dynamic theme is what I'm currently rocking on my PS3. I think it has a positive message.
I totally just got pwned.
Any hack for this will happen on the machine that rips the video, not the one that plays it back.
Ripping movies you purchase to AVI typically violates the copyright. You don't really own the movie. You just own the right to watch it in the way the studio tells you that you can. So to studios ripping a DVD to AVI and watching it on your iPod actually is piracy.
Porn certainly does teach you things. It teaches you about how to objectify people and set unrealistic sexual expectations. There is nothing healthy about young children seeing pornography.
I think it's a ridiculous assertion that the people who want Gran Turismo 5 don't have a PS3 yet. I kind of agree with the Halo Reach part, although I bet a special edition 360 will be forthcoming and may move a few consoles.
GT5 is going to be awesome, that's for sure. But it would be sad if people didn't enjoy all of the other games the PS3 has offered up for the last couple of years.
My personal opinion is that a lineup of great games that doesn't consist of a majority of shooters is fantastic. For a while there it seemed like it was just shooter after shooter. It's good to get some variety.

Also, I think the guy that sent the picture should have his XBL account banned. And the lady should, too, for violating the terms of service. They both broke the rules.
I hope it's true. It's been so long since we've had a real DOA game that I don't care what console it's on. I'm happy to see that there's a surge in fighting games again. I
Why does an 11 year old have access to Xbox Live? Is this one of those cases where someone chooses to not parent their child until it's too late? Online interactions not rated by the ESRB.
It's a mod of the original Gears on PC?
I'm so old-school that I prefer to game alone. Yeah. I'd stay in the basement all day if I had one.
Don't all consoles have barcodes on the boxes?
One would think. I imagine these repair centers being places where there are lots of spare parts lying around. But having never seen one, that's just my imagination.
Like I said, no way to know who is telling the truth. Sony is doing the right thing by accepting the responsibility and trying to compensate him.
