Exactly my point. DC was bare bones compared to Forza and Horizon. There are reasons it wasn't a hit with most gamers. It did have good graphics.
Drive club was average which is part of the reason it didnt get a sequel. It launched with techlnical issues,had inconsistent AI, no rewind feature, lacked car customization, a broken progression system. It did improve with patches but too little too late. Its possible and if this game turns out to be a big hit for PG, I can see it winning. To be honest, I think they should have already won one with forza but the industry doesnt pick those types of games for the ward. If they do win it will be well deserved.
