I dont think they're worried to much about how much Helix will sell. With Helix rumored to be $1000.00 or more there's no way it'll outsell series x and s. But the good thing is theystill have about 40 million series consoles out there in the ecosystem. And being able to play your games anywhere is one advantage they do have. They're not gonna move many playstation gamers over to their side but a lot of PC only gamers are definitely gonna buy it.
As long as they make the right choice for each game it may work out. As.long as I get to play them on my preferred console, which is xbox i say go ahead and lets see how it works out. Sony has stumbled a bit this generation when it comes to games so maybe they're trying to take advantage of it.
This is why there will always be competition in gaming. The possibilities to make huge profits is just too enticing.
Read my first comment and read his. I was the one actually staying on topic. What the hell is he or she talking about? Did a great job? He's definitely emotional because they were talking about developers which include Japanese one's not wanting sony to have a monopoly.
So yeah, when you post something like that and not add to the discussion. Its emotional. What else could it be. Listen, one thing about me is I dont try to hide who I am or what I prefer. Never ha...
@idossrage
Nah, if I went at anyone saying anything negative I'd be going after 99% of members here but I dont. And yes there is emotion involved as usual. A lot of people get emotional here when its something about xbox. It's just the way it is. Behavioral responses. Strong feelings. Emotions.
But first party studios aren't enough. They only make up a small portion of the industry. Without 3rd party there would be no industry for Microsoft or sony.Developing games take time and money and sometimes you gotta make moves to stay competitive.
The world would be better?
Then why be so emotional and continue to talk about it. Xbox will never die be ause it stays in so many people's head.
I dont think that'll ever happen. But i must say back in the day, they were definitely trying because they were more cash rich than their competitors.
Its not their job to run the game business. Everyone has a business model. You do what works for you. You react to changes in the market. Thats really all you can do.
3rd place in consoles but guess who is in 21st place out of 28 in metacritic game publishing ranking. Its the one who's console.cant even do a quick resume feature.
If people dont care they have a funny way of showing it. All I see is people trying to find some negative news about xbox every other day because sony isn't getting a lot of positive press right now. Since when is promoting your product a bad thing? If you dont like xbox then look away. Its not for you. Im looking forward to Helix. Im so glad Microsoft didnt make the mistake of doing a refresh like sony did.
I dont think they intend to, being that its gonna be expensive. They really dont need to sell as many as series x. They know people will still be using that console. Bigger games will be more expensive and take longer to develop.
The simple solution is dont buy what you cant afford. You dont have to move on just because the companies do. If people want better hardware and better games theyre gonna be more expensive. People need to be content with what they have.
Project Helix FTW!
You can say that about 95% of most games.
Looking forward to this. Playground Games is on a roll.
The game definitely isn't for you. You were expecting something different. Playing a game like this for only 1 hour isn't even scratching the surface.
Yea, I bet he gladly took that severance agreement too. Not saying there isnt any truth to it his claim, but you never get the whole story in situations like these.Anyway, this is just malarkey imo and isn't gaming news. Can we get something news worth discussing for a change.
No, sony is the one that fumbled this gen. They have given us hardly anything. Microsoft is the only one pumping out the games.
