yeah.
but at least MS replaces your console free of charge.
YLOD may not be as common as RROD but if you get it then you have to pay a bunch for another refurbished PS3.
before he played Mass Effect. Now he can't even play JRPGs any more except FF and loves the 360.
People are disagreeing with him because he's bragging about the new "rig" that he's getting and bragging is lame.
wow.
you losers need to get a life.
A lot of people hate America because they live in crappy countries no one cares about and are envious of what America has accomplished.

If you don't want it then don't buy it. man, gamers must have the highest concentration of whiners out there. they seem to complain about everything. probably too much mommy love.
gears 2 campaign is awesome. more is better.
The campaign is epic and has one of the most powerful cinematics in recent gaming history. If you played the game then you know what scene I'm talking about so there is no need for spoilers.
5 PM Eastern Time Zone
CS: Source - 42,159 current players
CS - 34,159 current players
Halo 3 - 168,408 current players
I've played CS since 2001 so why don't you ask me about Halo? CS is great at what it does, being a quasi-realistic, team-based shooter, and Halo 3 is great at what it does, being a sci-fi team-based shooter. Both games are like apples and oranges and shouldn't be compared. I like both.
i had a logic class that explained to me that "only on X" is the same as "X only". I think we called it a Tautology.
who cares about KZ2
Lost Planet is 360 only according to Famitsu.
Fable 2 looks pretty awesome. Sure, the character models are average but the actual environments are pretty amazing. also, how many gamers are there where your character actually changes physical appearance as you play in as many different ways as Fable 2? Zero.
and they will be supporting a Microsoft published game, too. MS gets the same amount of money if you buy Alan Wake on the PC or 360. Thanks for supporting the 360 by buying Alan Wake on your PC, fanboys.
However, we're talking consoles not PC. On a console, Alan Wake is set to blow anything in 2009 away. KZ2 cannot compete with Alan Wake's lighting effects, open world environment, and overall presentation. Or maybe you didn't get the memo. KZ2 looks like a dull, grey, closed envi...
art direction for the trailer looks great and is commendable.
but the graphics look meh. And if this is from an old build then why are they releasing old footage now? why not release the new build footage? shades of Resistance 2 "work in progress" here. Game will probably look a little better at launch.
I know the PC version would be better in terms of third party maps and mods and things like that but there is something more social about playing a game with your buddies on a console. nobody likes to come over, drink some beers, and take turns with a kb and mouse staring at my laptop screen.
that's because when it was first released it was only available on 360/windows for a year.
$24.99 on steam. Must. Buy. Now.
Steam is so awesome for deals. one weekend they sold Deus Ex for like a dollar or something. I remember a ton of PC geeks complained about Steam when it was first released as an invasion of privacy or some other nonsense but those people have probably moved on to bi7ching about Windows Vista or something else.
now, I have a dilemma. I wanted to buy this game for my 360 but half-price on the PC is almost too hard to resist. Maybe I'll just buy both. afterall, I have the Orange box on both PC and 360. Valve games are worth it.
But, wtf VALVE? where is my portal 2 and Half-life 2: episode 3? please, don't milk Left 4 dead for the next two years to the exclusion of your other games! I thought the whole idea of episodic content was to release a episode each year. Episode 3 is taking as long...
yeah it would really suck if this game was compromised so it could play on the inferior PS3. Hopefully it stays on the 360 too avoid all the well documented graphical weaknesses of the PS3 like lack of anti-alias and low framerates. anyway, i doubt it will come to the PS3. Ubisoft wants to make a nice looking game that runs smooth, afterall.
