I agree somewhat. It largely depends on where the development effort goes and right now with all of the enthusiasm it seems like most devs will indeed go for PS4 over anything else. Though I can see some developers prioritizing PC since all three platforms use the same architecture.
I can see why. They have a fairly consistent lineup of gamings coming out this year like Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 1+2, along with the indie stuff like Oddworld and Shantae. Not even sure I can afford everything I want, but I can certainly try.
Unlikely but most certainly not impossible. :)
I was a tad more convinced this year. I got mine in preparation of the games coming out this year as well as next. No way I ain't getting Smash day one. :D
I don't know about "enough" since the open world is pretty much all we know about this new game But it's high time Nintendo took advantage of HD hardware to made it happen.
Yeah they were. They were streaming live demos for the entire convention.
People thought it would?
Then why did you click on a piece about Bayonetta? XD
The short rundown would be that Americans love Mario Party and Japanese love Lady Palutena. And I expected neither. What a strange world we live in...
Coincidentally he once did a video rant on how gamers being immature has led to a lot of good things happening in the industry. :P
Ubisoft also has a terrible track record with release history. They tend to release their niche games around the same time as heavy AAA releases.
@Concertoine I personally liked SS for its story and motion controls, but I agree that it had simplistic design and it was far, far too easy and too guilty of holding the player's hand. It was a tough transition for me, but I too can see why people liked it as much as they did. It was a game with a lot of polish and it tried very hard to be a good entry point for newer, younger fans of the series.
I think the point is that opinion is widely agreed upon. And I'm not bothered. Nintendo does indeed make great games. I wouldn't have gotten a Wii U without that in mind.
They make more money selling hardware than they would selling only software.
F-Zero, Star Fox and arguably Metroid are not simplistic platformers. Also Mario 3D World has sold fairly well and New Super Mario Bros. U sold over 4 million units.
Mario 3D World with a platypus... I'd play the crap out of that. XD
Sounds like exactly what fans wanted in an Alien game.
Agreed. Vita deserves better support than what it is getting, but it is still a viable platform and still has content coming to it. I'm a strong believer of "It ain't over 'till it's over" and it isn't over for Vita yet.
Strange choice, especially since classic Maleficent has appeared a number of times in the series already.
Ryse looks alright and InFamous has its pretty and ugly side to it. Someone wrote a pretty good blog talking about how some distant objects in the city looked really ugly while the main portion of the game had a lot more visual flare. It's all subjective at the end of the day IMO.
