Haha, random is how the Japanese do sometimes. You ever see the Japanese Luigi ad where Peach screams in horror at the sight of Luigi? It's quite a watch.

Keep in mind without those iPads, Androids might not have become so popular.

Stuff like this reminds you that there are more hazards in the sea than just sharks.

Quite the opposite unfortunately. Nintendo being able to put on whatever show they want through a controlled environment is nice, but the issues are that E3 has a far bigger audience and Nintendo did not really take advantage of their E3 Direct time. It was only 40 minutes and it did not give us TOO much new information. It would be smart to go bigger, heavier, more hype.

Fingers crossed indeed. Nintendo needs to make a real impression on gamers this year. They need to get people excited which is something they haven't really tried to do for a while.

Err... I think it was a crying schoolgirl.

Meh. Wasn't that funny. The game's development cycle will probably be just fine.

A year long marketing cycle? GOOD! I and many gamers like me have been totally perplexed at Nintendo's marketing or lack thereof. A year long marketing campaign for one of their heaviest hitting exclusive franchises is definitely in order. Combine this with Smash Bros. and maybe even a price drop at the end of the year, and I guarantee that Wii U will see its biggest boost yet.

Indeed it does. It's why I actively chose to avoid GZ despite being a Metal Gear fan. I love the series but it was a genuine ripoff to me. Could not in good conscience buy it.

Pretty much. Sigh. Won't surprise me if we see more of these hour long games for $30. And I really hate the justification that people are getting their money's worth by playing it over and over. That really seems to be the only real defense.

Uh-huh... somehow with the Amazon Day One Xbox One reports, I find that doubtful.

Certainly hope so. Nintendo needs to have a HUGE presence at E3 this year if they hope to keep the Wii U relevant.

edited because this comment came off more negatively than I wanted it to. Nintendo just needs to excite people, generate hype and make people talk about their games. Then they need to market the crap out of the games they reveal. No more dilly-dallying. Pull out the big guns and have a big presence. It has to happen.

A remake of one of the finest and most unique games ever. Bang for your buck, dude. ;)

4411d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

To be fair, it's a full remake of a retail game. Many of the standalone remakes and remasters out there are priced much higher than this game. And as SaintAlpha said, buying the Playstation version nets you the game across three different platforms. :)

Jeez, that's horrifying. I had a pretty nasty nightmare that felt a lot like this.

Put them into a VR Mario Kart game. Then get the blue shell. THERE'S your heart attack. :P

4411d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Ha, Burnout with VR would be terrifyingly awesome.

How about finishing Mega Man Legends 3? That might be a start. First Capcom needs to get their heads out of their butts and forget about their resentment of Inafune.

4411d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

But that's because of great content. Wii U and PS4 lack the Japanese-centric games that attracted gamers from that region to 3DS and Vita.

Microsoft's primary market is the west. They could find success in other nations, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it.
